What stood out then still stands out now: the warmth of the staff, the charm of the property, the cozy atmosphere, and the attention to every small detail. The hotel feels like a true gem within Évora — perfectly situated, beautifully maintained, and close enough to enjoy the town while still feeling peaceful and special. The staff are genuinely helpful and welcoming, and the entire experience feels personal rather than transactional. Of all the places I visited across Spain and Portugal on my last trip, this hotel was the one that stayed with me the most. Returning here confirmed why. It has the rare quality of making you feel both at home and somewhere truly memorable. Because of this experience, I’m also looking forward to staying with the Unlock group in Lisbon and expect the same level of care and hospitality."

"Beautiful boutique hotel created in an early 19th century mansion, right in the middle of the old walled city. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Very conveniently located 3 minutes from the Bones Chapel and restaurants. No parking on site but free street parking from 2 PM to 9 AM just in front of the hotel or in a lot a short walk away (free all day). We travelled early May and enjoyed lounging around the pool (my daughter and I were alone). Breakfast was served from 7:30-10:30 with an appetizing display and à-la-carte options (omelets, egg Benedict, etc). We would certainly stay here again!"

"Beautiful hotel. Welcoming staff and very helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast great with fresh yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries and breads, and cheeses and ham. The staff parked our car which was great because we were not used to the narrow streets. I would recommend a stay here!"
