"Staff was pleasant, but this Microtel is dirty and worn. “breakfast” was cereal, two waffle makers, and a bowl of hard boiled eggs. The hallways reeked of many different types of food carried in by the construction crews who comprise most of the guests. "

"Liked: Appeared clean, some new fixtures, quiet hallway with carpet. Disliked: Woke up feeling like sheets had been washed in excessive amount of bleach, which led to showering at 3 AM, noticing drain fly in tub, spider webs at ceiling with bugs in webs, 2 red bug bite looking marks on my back, followed by thoughts of bedbugs. After Googling bedbugs, there was no evidence of bed bugs."

"The pictures looked great, and prices seemed reasonable. When we got there to check in the lady behind the desk wasn't very friendly. There were 3 cops standing at the desk. I booked a 2 queen bed room and when we got up to 204 the room had 2 doubles. We were too tired to complain, also there was alot of grime on the back of the washroom door and urine around the bottom of the toilet. Which I cleaned my self."

"This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities."

"There was paint peeling in every room, k-cups were from Dollar General - specifically clover valley brand and the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel were all cheap off brand I found at Walmart. I get it, I shop DG and Walmart but when paying $200 a night for a room expectations are a little higher. There are several hotels in the area that are much less expensive with better amenities."

"We had to come into town for a family emergency and needed somewhere clean and quiet to stay as my husband is still immunosuppressed from 4 years of cancer treatments. The staff were wonderful, especially the lady in housekeeping. She was helpful and super sweet. The rooms are kind of dated, but it was clean and quiet. Lots of pillows, mattresses were nice. There is a lovely patio for each room and the scenery is really breath taking. Only real downside was breakfast was mentioned on the website and on a little sign posted on-top of the tv in the room, but when we went in search of breakfast we were told they no longer offer that. Overall we were pretty happy with our stay and would go back again. "
