This apartment itself is exactly how it looks online. Well taken care of. The half bath is 1 of a kind (very unique). It's cozy with dormitory accessories (sink in the bedroom with the bunk beds). Plenty of utensils for cooking and cleaning supplies. Nice home decor (hanging lights & pictures). Back deck is a plus. Overrall it's worth it.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Rough neighborhood, duplex
Communication was great. This property is in a very rough, low socioeconomic area of town. Just one street over was a broken down camper with numerous tarps where a homeless person was living. There are broken down vehicles, graffiti and vacant shops. We entered the local dollar store and someone was actively stealing packages of underwear. This home is broken down into multiple units. While our unit had a very efficient, layout with washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, very comfortable, leather couch, and TVs in all rooms, we could hear everything that was going on in the unit behind us. The couple was arguing, swearing, chopping vegetables, and making food at 1 o’clock in the morning. They were slamming cabinet doors, burned something on the stove and we could smell it all night long. We did not sleep. We visited for the Nike cross country regional race. My daughter is a junior in high school, and this race was very important to her for her college résumé. Needless to say, without any sleep, she did not do well in the race. We are very disappointed. That was a very old used sponge on the kitchen sink with two paper towels, left on the paper towel. The cabinets and the refrigerator door looks like they could use a deep cleaning. The dirty linens from the stay prior to ours were left in pillowcases on the back patio table and were left there for our entire visit. Steer clear from this property.
Our stay was Awesome!!! It was so Homey and perfect for a weekend trip! Well furnished, great decor and Cool area minutes aways from lots of places too!
as the terminator said "I'LL BE BACK"
It was right in the thick of things and near everything. You can hear the train horns in the distance, and it had a nice big green yard. Also had a large deck but we had rain the whole time we were there, but it will hold a lot of people and had a dining table out there. Worked great as near all the family we went to see.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Property was booked from technical error and was cancelled within 30 minutes of the error occurring. Host refused to communicate with Vrbo and refused to refund charge and didnt update Vrbo until they called her again 2-3 days later
Really unpleasant place -- it smells strongly of stale smoke and other foul odors. The beds have a mildew smell (I'm allergic to mold, so this made me feel very sick in the night, but it didn't bother the rest of my family.)
Dishes in the cabinet and silverware were dirty (there is a dishwasher but perhaps it doesn't work well). We handwashed dishes before using them.
Also bad smells (like sewage) in the parking area.
All of this is unfortunate -- the size of the apartment was fine for our family of 4, king bed is nice away from home and the 2nd bedroom has full mattresses in the bunkbed. The terrible smells and mold though made this a really bad place for us.
Also noteworthy -- the bathroom attached to the king bedroom is tiny and strange -- the shower is right over the toilet ... not sure how to shower without soaking everything, so we treated it as a half-bath and everyone used the bathroom off the kitchen.
We were given the wrong code to the door -- trying to get in while dodging mosquitoes ... no fun.
This place has potential but all in all it was gross and a disappointing stay.
Looks like it would be cute and a nice place to stay based on the pictures, but it's NOT. When you walk in the door, you get a big waft of Marijuana mixed with musty, mold, air freshener cover up. Whoever installed the flooring didn't take the baseboards off, so the flooring doesn't go all the way to the wall. Lots of dirt & grime have built up. There is a spot by the bar going into the kitchen area where there is a nail or something coming up through the flooring. The bar stools are not sturdy. The walls, baseboards, and even the air fresheners are covered in dirt/dust. You can see daylight coming through under the entry door. We actually put the doormat under the door when we closed it to prevent bugs from getting in. Not enough pillows. I'm not even sure the bedspreads have ever been washed. They are stained, had a gross film on them, and had actual dirt that we swiped onto the floor. Makes you wonder if the sheets have ever been washed! The nasty mop (cleaning supplies) are out in the open. The once white mop head is dark gray & disgusting. Did the place ever really get cleaned? The main bathroom door does not shut unless you put your shoulder into it, and it makes a very loud noise when you open it. Why not buy an actual shower head that makes sense in that bathroom? And towels in the shower? Come on. The towels smelled musty. There are mushrooms, yes actual mushrooms, growing in the bathroom around the toliet. I'll try to leave 2 reviews - this place is GROSS!
