Their where dirty towel in bathroom when I walked in the room. I booked and paid thru Expedia and the front desk still tried to charge me 132,00 when I checked in

This was an amazing place to stay! Front desk help was amazing. Very clean and smelled great when you walked in the front doors. The breakfast included was good too. Near many options for dining and shopping.

Everything was wonderful except the breakfast. It’s cheap cuz it’s free. But really it’s cheap and needs to just go away it’s that bad. Chicken sausage were hockey pucks, the juices were just colored sugar water, the watery scrambled eggs made me lose my appetite. Just do a great quality healthy euro style breakfast since you can’t do an American one well at all.

The lobby is probably what made me book this place, but when we got to the room, it is smaller than the rooms at the hotels right next door. There is no closet, its just open hanger, the desk was a small, rolling metal cart almost, the walls were paper thin. Our TV was hung crooked, because the rooms are so small, they hang the TVs, but I got to hear everything my neighbor was watching until 1:30 a.m. I had to call staff twice to get some noise relief and still nothing. I had to head to the lobby and met staff on the elevator that was knocking and trying to get him to turn down the TV and I just stayed in the hall to say, How about OFF! If the hotel is not full, they should spread out the guest. I could hear someone trip in a room nearby and curse, it's just a terribly built hotel for rest and privacy.

Less that acceptable staff assistance.
The night shift staff was less than helpful. I needed to park with a trailer and they advised me to park on the street. There was no parking on the street. I advised that that would not go over well with the police department and they decided I could park in the fire lane. Well that is an even worse idea. I finally made something work and fortunately they didn’t go outside to see what I did.😬 The morning shift crew was fine and in line with what I expected.

The room was very small. There was only one chair and it was a desk chair at that. No closet, no drawers for storage. Our first and last stay at Tru by Hilton

The property needs to be updated. In our first room we heard dog/dogs barking for quite a long time. The next morning, we informed the staff & was told that it was believed that the party had checked out. When we returned to our room, in the afternoon, we discovered that the dog/dogs were still causing disruption to our rest. So, again we informed the staff & told that we could move to another room. In the second room the next morning we overheard the guests in the next room talking. The staff was very helpful!!!

Stay was average. Didn't like that the elevator was out upon my arrival and I had to carry my suit cases up the stairs to my room. Also didn't care for one of the staff texting my phone each day about my stay. Staff should ask guest beforehand or at check in if they want to receive texts and not just assume they do or text anyway.

Elevator Not Working
The elevator was out and they only had 4th floor rooms available which we were ok with walking up and down; however, we did not need to be with luggage. Those that checked in after us definitely didn’t need to be walking the stairs and we helped them. Our room was great and clean. I would stay again just need the elevator fixed and stay fixed.

From the time we walked in to the time we left staff was very helpful. The breakfast options were numerous and available early enough for us to eat before heading to a softball tournament. We will definitely be staying again.
