An updated Palacio in old Teruel

The hotel is a newly renovated property in an old Palacio in the heart of the old city of Teruel. The interior layout is a bit quirky, but in a positive sense, as the designers went out of their way to incorporate important aspects of the old building into their design.

I really doubt there is a better place where to stay while visiting Teruel. Staff is very helpful and the location is perfect. The room is really spacious with everything you might need.

Great location and easy parking

Lovely looking hotel and a spacious, comfortable room. Air conditioning was unfathomable and set at a minimum temp of 21 degrees which was annoying. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the cafe didnā€™t open until 9 am which was also annoying. However, parking for the motorbike worked well (for an extra charge) and the town was easily walkable. Would happily stay again.

I liked: the Location. I did not like: It was impossible to control the heat in the room and it was too hot to sleep well under the covers and too cold not to use them. These alpine covers are not good for heated rooms.

Pet Owners Beware

First thing is extra charges. We had to pay 15 Euros for the secure undergriund parking, but I had a big issue with the 30 Euros we were charged for our dog to stay the night. This is the most we have ever been charged and I think it is extortionate. Apart from that this is a nice hotel, great rooms, clean and in a fab location.
