About this property
Outpost: Sleeping Indian E8 - Hot Tub Access!
This comfortable two bedroom, two-bath unit features a primary bedroom with a king-sized bed, an additional bedroom with two single beds, a full kitchen, and an inviting living space with a queen pullout couch to sleep extra guests. The unit entrance is accessible via outdoor stairs, allowing you to get to your accommodation without having to pass through any indoor common areas. There is also a balcony with a gas grill that overlooks the Jackson Hole valley, plenty of storage inside the unit, and outdoor lockable storage with room for skis and other gear. Curl up by the large stone fireplace on cool Teton evenings. You'll love unwinding after a day on the slopes or hiking trails.
There is a coin operated Laundry Room located in the basement of the Sleeping Indian West building.
Complimentary access to the two hot tubs and pool at Sundance Swim and Tennis Club, across the street. Sundance is open Memorial Day through early-October and again from late-November through early April.
Please note that this home does not have air conditioning, as central AC is still an uncommon property feature throughout Jackson Hole. Fortunately, due to our elevation and mountain climate, we find indoor temperatures can be regulated by following procedures detailed in the guest portal provided upon booking.
Please note that the National Parks Service has construction planned for Moose-Wilson Road, affecting the closest entrance to Grand Teton Park, the Granite Canyon Entrance. We have outlined the closures they anticipate below:
Through late July: open from 7 pm Friday to 7 am Monday, or the day after a federal holiday at 7 am.
Late July through the remainder of the summer: open seven days a week with possible 20-minute delays.
During the specified closures, access to the park is fortunately still possible through the main entrance in Moose. Please contact us for recommended routes

We had a wonderful stay at the Sleeping Indian E8 condo! The place was clean and cozy, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax together in the evenings. The location provided easy access into Grand Teton Nat Park which was the focus of our visit. We even saw a mom & baby moose in the neighborhood! We did not explore the hot tub/pool/rec center which is in a separate building up the street but everything else was perfect.
We love Teton Village and have stayed in several units in this area. This is one of our favorites. It was clean, wonderful and very comfortable for our family. We had a blast skiing over spring break and love the convenience of this unit and being able to walk to the chair lift or walking down to restaurants and all that is available in the village. We’d love to stay here again if possible!
The condo was very clean and in great condition. Convenient location just a short walk to the slopes and the shuttle to the village. Short drive to Jackson. Property management was very easy to communicate with as well. I would definitely recommend staying here with a small group
Comfortable place fairly close to the base at Teton Village. It is a bit dated, but clean, nicely furnished and more reasonably priced than most other options in Teton Village.
The host was super responsive and the place was quiet, clean and cute! Would stay here again. Only complaint was the hot tub was not open - wish the dates were clearly specified in the listing.
One of the best floor plans in a place I have stayed, lots of room in the condo for living and privacy. Could use more dish towels and a new sponge in kitchen. Location is perfect. Enjoyed the week very much.
Great time and great property.
Property had spices, condiments there which was nice.
Very convenient to walk to lift by condo and then could ski almost all the way back home.
Very comfortable unit.
I came with a friend for vacation. The property was beautiful, clean, and close to all the sites to be seen. It had all of the amenities that we were looking for. The property manager s were extremely attentive to any request and returned emails and text within 24 hours. We would definitely recommend this place and would return if traveling to Jackson Hole again.
Easy check in. Property exactly as listed. short walk to town and beautiful scenery. I thought the beds were great. My husband thought too soft....everything was provided, shampoo, conditioner, soap, trash bags, coffee filters. etc, Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Loved everything about this condo. Perfect for a family of 4- a 10 minute drive directly into one side of the Teton NP and a 2 minute drive into Teton Village. Home was very clean, beds were comfortable and appreciated the pool amenity and laundry room amenity. Property manager was prompt in responding to questions about the property. Can’t wait to come back!
The property was dated. Wood trim was all chipped The walls are super thin and we could hear ever step from the unit above us with kids running all over until 10 pm. Location was great.
Overall the unit was as advertised in a great location. Check-in was easy and the host communicative. Ski lift is walking distance and the bus is convenient for when you want to go directly to the mountain base. Only issues are that you can hear the unit above when they walk around / speak loudly and the fire wood may have been a bit too new and didn't burn well! Overall a good option in Teton Village.
Wonderful location and would definitely stay again, but was shocked and disappointed that the garbage cans had NOT been emptied from the previous renter. Aside from that the unit was clean and well appointed for our needs.
We loved our stay in this condo - great common space for cooking and relaxing. The separate bed/bathrooms made it easy to enjoy personal time. As other reviewers have noted, the kitchen and IT services are well-stocked. Comfortable sofa and beds. Great towels. Noise does indeed carry between condo units....so, depending on your neighbours, you can have peace. We seemed to have 3 different sets of renters above us so we experienced a range of sound.
Loved the view and the location. Would stay again!
The location is perfect. The condo living area furniture could use updating. A couple doors would not stay open. The master bedroom could use some more storage for clothes maybe more hangers in the closet. There was dust on the wood floor and end tables. That being said the linens and towels were very nice, lots of towels. Outpost the property manager were great to work with great communication. With the exception of the few minor complaints, I would recommend the property.
We were a family of 4 adults, and the condo was ample and spacious enough for all of us. The deck was used frequently for morning coffee and evening drinks, and we were lucky enough to have a bull moose walk by one evening.
There is not an automatic ice maker in the refrigerator, so we did it the old fashioned way. The condo could use a few more ice cube trays for this purpose. Otherwise, the kitchen was well equipped with whatever gadget or utensil you may require for cooking.
The open kitchen and sitting areas were perfect for lounging and conversation. Highly recommend.
