Wow this was an amazing place to stay. I miss it already! The location is great with stunning views and the house itself is charming and comfortable and very thoughtfully organized. The house was clean and bright. We felt so fortunate to stay in this wonderful home. Thank you to Teton Homestead, who take great care of the property and were so helpful. And thanks to the owners for sharing their wonderful home.
The host was very engaging and welcoming. The facility was well furnished, clean and had everything we needed. The only things that could use updating would be master bathroom and kitchen pans.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful country home. Everything was perfect although it was a little further than I expected from Yellowstone and even Grand Tetons. We managed just fine although 2 1/2 hours from the West Entrance was a lot after a long day. It also required we left earlier in the am. Other than that it was absolutely perfect for us!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disappointed
The cabin is beautiful, and decorated very well to coincide with the location. But When we arrived at the cabin, it was only partially clean. We contacted the property manager and they came quickly and finished while we went for an early dinner. Also, we had 4 very active boys with us and needed clean towels, but the spin cycle on the washer didn't work right, so it took literally 4 hours to dry them. In addition the TV didn't work. Again, we called property manager and they brought out clean towels, and also did a temporary fix on the TV. It's possible that the previous guests didn't mention that repairs were needed. But also the web site is not accurate. They advertise 4 king size beds, but there's only 1, and 3 queen beds. Perhaps one of the worst things is that there was derogatory literature about a certain religion. In the current atmosphere of our country, my opinion is that this is in poor taste. If the house was strictly used for private purposes, no problem. But when you rent to the public, I believe it's in bad taste.
Of all the properties we reviewed for our trip, this one turned out just perfect. It was a great spot in terms of distance to different day trips, either to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and the airport in Idaho Falls. The house was beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The house was a little warm during the day, but as we were always on a day trip, it was able to cool off quickly once we got home and opened up the windows. BJ and team responded quickly to all our inquiries before the trip, and checked in with us during the stay to m ake sure all was ok. It was a perfect home away from home.
My family and I had a great time at this home and it was a perfect driving distance from Teton National Park and Jackson, where we celebrated our wedding. This was a great home base for all of the activities we had planned and the communication was excellent
This house is a gem sitting in front of the Teton range. The property is spacious and has everything a family would need during a vacation. Both the deck and balcony have stunning mountain views. The sky looks fabulous at night from the deck.It gives you a very secluded feel even if there are other cabins in the area around. The owner/management company is very responsive. Surely, this deserves to get a 5 star.
We covered both park (Yellowstone and Grand Teton) from this property. However, who is planning on this , just to keep in mind that the parks are 1hr30 mins and 1hr 15 mins drive respectively. It is doable but may be little tiring on multiple days trip. Overall, I would very much recommend this whoever is planning in this area with a family or group and looking to explore parks as well as enjoying a nice space at the end of the day or just relaxing in the house.
The property was spacious, well appointed with everything anyone could want and clean. The management company was very easy to contact and responded to questions quickly. The views were marvelous and we even saw a momma moose with her baby. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was cute and perfect for 6 adults. It had a beautiful setting. It was a good hour to Jackson, 1.5 hours to Jenny Lake and almost 2 to West Yellowstone so be prepared for lots of driving if you are wanting to venture out. It’s perfect for staying out and enjoying the beautiful scenery from your front or back porch.
We enjoyed our stay at this property thoroughly. Property manager was very helpful and quickly responsive. The house was clean and fully stocked. We would recommend this location to anyone who wants to cover both parks.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Two families with 3 kids ages 5 & 9 had an amazing week! The house was spacious and clean with beautiful views of the Tetons. We used the grill and fire pit daily and the kids enjoyed all the open space to run and play. We also very much enjoyed the town of Driggs! We frequented the grocery store and several restaurants. The Royal Wolf, Teton Thai & Citizen 33 Brewert were our favorites as well as Butter in Victor. We enjoyed trips into Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. We left early since it was a bit of a drive but it was an easy drive. I would highly recommend this house as a great jumping off point to visit this beautiful area!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful log cabin. Not only do you have fantastic views of Grand Tetons but peace and solitude abound. If you're looking to get away , you will love this place .
This house was so lovely. My husband and I stayed here with our 5 children, ages 7-20. There’s so much to do in this area: Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, all within a reasonable drive. The house was spacious and comfortable surrounded by beautiful fields of cows happily grazing on grass. It’s an idyllic location and a great way to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the Grand Tetons was amazing and with the house being so rural, star gazing was excellent. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home.
Thank you so much for sharing a beautiful serene home. Beautifully decorated clean spacious and warming. Books were amazing
Our family get away was filled with joy and warm thank you for a beautiful home stay
Beautiful home inside and out. We really enjoyed the solitude of this home after busy, crowded days in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. We wish we had packed a telescope for star gazing off the upper deck. The amount of visible stars was amazing. We saw shooting stars, satellites and the international space station pass overhead. I would definitely recommend this home as a place to stay.
The house is as advertised by the pictures. Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. When I booked the property there was only one pic of the house from the outside and it was a tight shot. That coupled with the listing stating that it was in a subdivision gave me some concern, until arriving. Subdivision LOL! I love Idaho. We could see two houses, one about 150-200 yards away and the second about a quarter of a mile away nestled in the woods (their deck light gave them away). Back to the house as stated previously the house didn't disappoint. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked. Our group loves to cook and eat and we lacked for nothing to prepare our meals. The great room and all the beds got great reviews for comfort and elbow room. We saw a flat screen TV when we toured the house upon our arrival but never turned it on. At the end of our days we opted to sit on the deck and gaze at the west side of the Tetons and reminisce about our adventures or when the sun went down moved to the great room and gazed into the fire we built in the beautiful fireplace and continue our conversation until the eyes could no longer be held open. We really enjoyed this property. It gave us access to the west entrance to Yellowstone and south entrance to the Tetons. Oh and I can't forget to give the town of Driggs it's props. Driggs is about 10-15 mins away and for a town of 1660 people it has a lot going on. Large grocery store, many restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, outfitters, shops, bike trails.....on and on. I would highly recommend contacting Teton River Supply and take a kayak trip down the Teton River. We saw 8 moose!! Our time was well spent in this house and would not hesitate to book it again.
