"Overall a great stay. We stayed at the lodge on the 3rd floor. Good sized room, amazing view of the lake from the balcony. Breakfast spread was very good. Friendly service in the bar area. Definitely recommend staying here."

"Great property...close to lots a thongs to do in nature and not too far from town activities..giant polish golf lawn game is a riot. The front desk lady " Dawn" is amazing. Dawn went out of her way to make our stay as less complicated as possible..Dawn moved a lot of pieces around just so my girlfriend and i would not have to move rooms for our second night. Dawn is a true asset and very pleasent and professional...must see and stay here at tbis property..."

"House presents itself directly to the lake, which is the main draw for me. Kitchen is very functional, ample furniture, and the fire pit patio is awesome.The house added a water purifier since my last visit. That was a major upgrade and enhancement to the stay."

"My 2 children and I stayed here for 3 nights while we explored the North Shore. The location was perfect for driving up and down the shore. The house was on a beautiful and quiet property. Very neat and clean with a lot of homemade items that have a warm and inviting feeling. Stocked with games, books, info on the north shore. Host was very nice! Would love to stay again. "

The Perfect Location for your North Shore Experience

"Great property for a mid-size group. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. The upstairs room has a trundle bed, that worked well for our young kids with us nearby and the other adults had their own spaces downstairs. There is not much yard, so kids played inside/on deck. There are stairs down to the lake, leading to some steep rocks. I wouldn't trust kids down there unsupervised. Big kitchen, great views, nice location. Right on the bike path, with easy access to Gooseberry and Split Rock by bike or Iona by foot. "

"This place is relaxing, clean and comfortable. The sound of rushing water from Crown Creek is nothing short of therapeutic. It's in easy reach of Lake Superior or head the other direction and enjoy the quiet forest. If you plan on grilling, you'll need to bring a portable grill, as the grill is unusable. No tv channels, but who cares."

"This property was clean and inviting! Plenty of windows that allowed you to look at beautiful Lake Superior. The host, Jo, is detail-oriented and has thoughtful instructions posted to help you become acclimated and enjoy their home to the fullest. The double whirlpool tub is a bonus and you can still see the lake while sitting down and allowing the jets melt all your cares away. This townhouse is in a small community, not on a resort, and was quiet and private. We heard only waves and birds while inside. If you're looking for solitude with access to the parks and beauty of the North shore, I highly recommend booking. "
