"The hotel is centrally located. The staff were truly amazing- Front desk,our concerns were handled immediately. Cleaning staff ,rooms were immaculate - Breakfast staff were attentive - The most important was the team smile - "

"First impressions were great. We had two rooms, for a 5 night stay. In that time, both rooms had to have maintenance called twice, due to blocked toilets. The sink didn’t drain properly either. Staff were lovely and the location was very good for exploring México City. Pool area was pleasant. Hot tub was boiling hot on one day. Good job that afternoons were always cloudy, as there were only five sun loungers in total."

"El Hotel Barceló es un Excelente lugar para hospedarse: quiero felicitarlos. El Cuarto fue muy limpio y ambiente muy fresco; todo funciona; la comida y desayuno son deliciosos; nutritivos, calientes y fríos excelentes. La Administración fue muy amable en todo momento. El hotel es bellísimo ; de un gusto exquisito; tienen música ambiental cuando comes tus alimentos; hay tiendas; restaurantes; casas de cambio; renta de taxis o Uber; las personas que te atienden cuando llegas y toman tu equipaje son muy amables ; desde que llegas; la Seguridad te dice Bienvenidos. Felicito al Señor Isaías nos ayudó con nuestro equipaje con cuidado; amabilidad y nos ayudó informándonos como poder ir a lugares turísticos; me prestaron un cable de recarga para mi iPhone en mi cuarto pues lo olvidé sin ningún costo. Las Señoritas y Jóvenes de la Recepción fueron extremadamente amables; educados y cordiales. También hay un bar que lo amenizan con música en vivo; piano; violín y tocan bellísimo; las Damas que tocaron los 4 días que estuvimos tocan bellísimo: muchas felicitaciones. Los Desayunos fueron exquisitos y las Comidas y happy hour estuvieron todos los días deliciosos; frescos; impecablemente limpio y Nunca bajaron la calidad del servicio. Felicito a los cocineros y chefs porque cocinan delicioso. Me hospedé en el Nivel 12 Premium. Los Elevadores están bellísimos; impecablemente limpios y le dan un toque al hotel muy elegante.Gracias a Claudia; Fernanda; Berenice y todos los del Piso 12 . "

"It’s run down. Not the star rating it’s advertised as. Feels dingy, carpets are super old. Very over priced. Exposed wires under the bathroom sink. They gave us complimentary drinks which they then tried to deny. I had to get the bar manager over to finally get it fixed. I also left my jacket behind accidentally and trying to get it back has been like trying to move heaven and earth. Unresponsive staff. "
