Hotelli oli ihan siisti ja hienolla paikalla ihan rannassa. Viereisen isomman hotellin palvelut ovat käytössä. Allasalueet ovat siistit. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja riittävä. Ainoa miinus oli äänekäs ilmastointi jonka säätöjä henkilökunta hieman pyynnöstämme korjasi, ja se tuli kuntoon.

Tranquil and Beautiful

Great location and service in a quiet and beautiful area. Our only issue is that our "beachfront" room was not really on the beach, but in a courtyard leading to the pool.

Von Fotos im Internet geblendet, anderes erwartet

Ich wollte für meinen Freund und mich ein schönes Strandhotel, was ich mir verhältnismäßig viel kosten ließ,für 5 Nächte. Ich hatte ein Deluxe Garden View Zimmer gebucht. Als wir im Zimmer ankamen, fiel erstmal der Schimmelgeruch auf. Badezimmer in sehr renovierungsbedürftigem Zustand, überall Schimmel, alles alt und verwohnt, der Duschvorhang war voll mit Schimmel. Das Zimmer war eher klein, in der Beschreibung sollten es 38 qm sein, die waren es aber nie im Leben, es war ebenfalls sehr abgewohnt, die Fliesen auf dem Boden locker, offensichtliche Wasserschäden in der Wand, einfach darüber gestrichen. Türschloß war lachhaft. Es gab noch nicht einmal eine Leselampe am Bett. Noch nicht mal ein Fön! Ich fragte an der Rezeption nach einem schönerem Zimmer. Es wäre keins frei, erst in 2 Tagen, dann könnte ich das Zimmer, das meiner Original Buchung entspräche, haben! Aha, ich hatte also gar nicht das richtige Zimmer bekommen! Ich sollte in 2 Tagen um 12 Uhr an der Rezeption sein, dann könnten wir umziehen. Habe mich wie ausgemacht um 12 gemeldet, wir sollten dann unsere Sachen packen. Gesagt, getan. Ich dachte, wir bekämen dann das neue Zimmer, nein, wir sollten um 14 Uhr wieder kommen...das neue Zimmer war fast in genau dem gleichen abgewohnten Zustand wie das erste. Einziger Unterschied war Größe und ein Tick mehr Ausstattung. Eine Frechheit für 4 Sterne und das Geld! Einfache Dingen wie neue Pooltücher zu bekommen, erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen möglich.

Lovely stay

Enjoyed 3 days at Hive. I enjoyed every day at the lovely pool. Easy access to several restaurants, bars and massage places just 2 minutes walk away. However, I think the price was a bit high compared to what you get. The breakfast buffet was not really surprising but rather standard.

God placering! Ud til vandet og for enden af en lille hyggelig gade med en masse restauranter og enkelte butikker. Dog skal der leges stoledans ved poolområdet for at få en strandstol. Vi forsøgte at fortælle personalet, at det var et problem. De svarede med, at de havde vidst det i en måned men at de stadigvæk ventede på tiltag fra ledelsen af hotellet. Det er dog værd at nævne, at personalet på hotellet er meget venlige og pligtopfyldende. Så hvis man ikke har noget imod at skulle stå tidligt op for at reservere solstole på et lettere slidt hotel, så kan dette anbefales. Vi havde i hvert fald en god ferie. :-)

Lækkert hotel i smukke omgivelser

Dejligt hotel helt tæt ned til stranden. Der er handlemuligheder og restauranter tæt på og kort afstand til Khaolak centrum. Helt klart anbefalelsesværdigt.

Einfach nur schön

Toll, das man das Hotel Emerald nebenan auch für das Frühstück benützen kann, da dies wesentlich größer ist und somit auch ein wesentlich größeres Buffet mit guter Auswahl hat.

Für eine Übernachtung ok, aber länger nicht

Bei der Ankunft verlief alles problemlos, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang gebucht was wir auch bekamen. Das Zimmer war von der Sauberkeit ok und die Einrichtung war auch wie angegeben vorhanden. Das Bad könnte etwas moderner sein. In der ersten Nacht fingen jedoch schon die Probleme an. Es standen genau vor unserer Zimmereingangstür, die hinter einem Parkplatz war, 10 Reisebusse von Chinesen. Die Motoren liefen bis in die Nacht und am Morgen wurden diese auch wieder um 05:00 gestartet, dies verursacht schon erheblichen Lärm, was für eine Erholung sehr ärgerlich ist. Das war leider nicht alles, natürlich waren da die Reisenden von den Bussen auch noch, die das Hotel alle nur für eine Übernachtung als Zwischenstopp benutzten. Die Leute verursachten bis in die Nacht am Pool einen Lärm, hüpften an unserem Zimmer ständig vorbei und wenn sich jemand wieder nicht sicher war wurde auch bei uns geklopft. Da wir mit einem Kind (2 Jahre) reisten, bin ich am nächsten Tag zur Hotelleitung um evtl. ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen, das auch angeboten wurde, neben dem Restaurant ohne Poolzugang und viel kleiner, also ein meiner Meinung noch schlechteres Zimmer das ich ablehnte. Wir hatten 6 Nächte die wirklich sehr laut waren und nicht zu empfehlen sind. 90€ p.Nacht zu teuer! Das einzig Positive, das Hotel gehört mit dem Emerald Beach Club zusammen, dort hatten wir das Frühstück das wirklich sehr gut war!! Auch den Poolbereich durften wir im Emerald besuchen, für Kinder super!

Dårlig vedlikeholdt hotell, midt i ingenmanns land

Hotellet ser ikke ut til å ha blitt vedlikholdt i det hele tatt siden det ble bygget. Slitt er veldig beskrivende for det meste på hotellet. Strømmen gikk titt og ofte. Personalet snakker meget dårlig engelsk. Veldig begrenset utvalg på frokostbuffeten. Insekter over alt. Strandsengene står ikke på stranden, men på ett platå over stranden. Basengene opplevdes som skitne, med mye sand på bunnen og fult av døde insekter. Bassengbaren i det ene bassenget, var alle stolene i vannet knekt, og det var aldri noen som betjente baren. Området hotellet lå i var ganske avsides. Avhengig av å kjøre taxi eller scooter i 15 min for å komme til noe, det som var i gå avstand fra hotellet var noen restauranter og innpåslitne skreddere.

sur la plage c'est tout...

Piscine avec vue sur la plage qui est jolie. Pour le reste très moyen, chambres grandes mais basiques aux finitions pas terribles, lits pas confortables (et ceux pour les 4 chambres réservées...). Le personnel n'est pas serviable, sans sourire, aucune information à notre arrivée sur les prestations de l’hôtel (spa, petit dej, navette...) déçu !!!

good location, extremely horrible service

Hotel location is great and the beach is beautiful. Lots of options to eat in the area behind the hotel. On the beach about 500m away, there is a really good massage place where the beds face the ocean. Walk about 1km further and you will find a very local but good beach front restaurant called Lanna. The service at the hotel was extremely horrible. The only good thing about this place is the hotel and location. So if you don't mind bad service, it's a reasonable place to stay.
