"Room was clean and decent size for family of 4 however it was extremely hot. Couldn’t sleep first night however next morning we raised this issue and was provided with fans. Saw other guests complaint about same issue so I guess it’s common. Parking was stressful, their carpark was expensive and full so had to quickly drop everything then park at the mall carpark for £7 a day. No cars allowed in front of hotel except for buses. You have to go around to get to the hotel carpark"

"IT WAS A GOOD STAY , STAFF FRIENDLY, FUN GAMES , DECENT GYM ALSO... THE HOTEL HAS ONLY THE ONE PINBALL MACHINE, I THINK IT WAS MY MISTAKE BUT THOUGHT IT HAD MORE & INCLUDED THE GUEST ROOMS - BUT SADLY NOT 😥 BUT , I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN ! ALSO , YOU CAN DRINK IN THE BAR AFTER 11 PM ... NICE "

"Room was far too hot-top floor and heating pumping out with no way to turn down. Small fan in room not up to job of cooling sufficiently. Bar /food not open. Disappointing for a Mercure hotel. Staff apologetic but unable to solve issue."

"Spotlessly clean hotel with a friendly welcome on arrival. Room had wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows and a great sized shower. Hotel was lovely and quiet too. The only disappointment was the quality of the cooked breakfast elements, really cheap, deep fried sausages, bacon had run out and only scrambled eggs available -also, heavily diluted fresh juice. Wasn't a messive issue for us but if you're into a full cooked breakfast it might be. Overall, good 👍 "

"The room was disgusting with stains over the bathroom floor and bin, the bedroom had not been vacuumed very well with large build up of dust around the skirtings, and the drawers looked like someone had vomitted in. Awful place, do not stay in this hotel. "
