Yosemite National Park Hotel Guide - The Ahwahnee hotels in Yosemite National Park, United States of America.

"Yosemite Valley Lodge is a dump. The leasee, Aramark, is exploiting the national park for a large profit. I paid over $300 per night for a room that appears to not be updated in 50 years. The carpet was old and stained, the furniture was of poor quality and old, the countertops were old formica etc. the thermostat in the room did not work and the heater ran nonstop. It was 16° outdoors at night but felt like 80° in the room. All three sliding windows were opened by a previous occupant and thankfully , were stuck open. The food in the cafeteria was so poor it was inedible. Clearly, Aramark has not fulfilled its responsibility to care for the property."

"We visited during a winter storm. The place is cozy and has great view of the winter wonderland outside. Host was really kind to offer us extra night of stay, if the road closure impacts our departure date."

"The house was far from luxurious. The heat didn’t work and the central heating didn’t get up to 70 until the next morning. No toiletrie amenities at!!! A lot of things broken or not working. The only thing I’m great full for is that my wife didn’t go with us because she would have hated this place. The electric didn’t work in any of the rooms. And WiFi was spotty. If you can find a different place I HIGHLY recommend you don’t stay HERE. As side from that if you don’t want to drive fat after visiting Yosemite and this is the last place available then you know why. Good luck. "
