"Longacre is a beautiful property with old world charm. Sitting and sipping tea in its lovely parlor, we felt transported to a bygone era. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. "
"The stay itself was nice but the front desk person at check in was rude and housekeeping was even ruder banging on my door like the police 2 hours before checkout waking up my sleeping baby"

"Spent two nights because we were in the area to purchase a car. Very pleasantly surprised - the online photos didn't do justice to how lovely the hotel is. Old shoe factory and they paid homage to shoes everywhere you looked (but very tastefully done). Very clean and the staff was friendly and competent. Within walking distance to the town and other restaurants. There was a nice paved walking/biking path along the James River below the hotel - they supplied bikes and it was a beautiful ride. Continental breakfast (muffin, yogurt, fruit, OJ) delivered to your door in an old shoeshine box. We highly recommend the Craddock-Terry Hotel."

"We had the most wonderful stay at this cabin for our book retreat! Check-in was seamless and stress-free, which set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending time in the pool and hot tub. This cabin exceeded our expectations and made our retreat truly special. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again! "
