"Pros •Lovely location! Very convenient and very classy though there are no restaurants nearby. This is not a problem though as you can walk a or take a tram to Alexander Platz easily. •The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are small but VERY ergonomic. The only problem there is the water temperature fluctuates. •The desk is ~5 feet x 20" which is excellent especially for such a small room! •The view is superb. Especially from the breakfast restaurant which is really nice and bright too! •The staff are 99% very helpful and courteous. ONE individual was unpleasant which was not fair on everyone else. •The rooms are clean. Cons •Breakfast is not up to 3* standards. •The Bed is hard and the "Duvet" (if you even call it that) is thin. •There is only one working elevator. •There is no phone in the room. So no wake up call is possible. 3 star should have a phone. •There is no minibar / fridge, in the room so is it really 3 star? Or does it barely meet the requirements? •There is no cafe. •Soft drinks downstairs are expensive so buy that elsewhere. •I was there 5 nights and my sheets were not changed even once. I bathe twice a day so not a big deal but that is not the point. •There is no comfortable lounge chair. Just the plastic desk chair. •Lighting and lighting systems are not up to the mark. •The key card is not necessary for the elevator. Bottom line, it is a budget hotel claiming 3 stars and definitely falls short of that rating. The location however is really excellent."

"We had a fantastic stay at Lux 11 Berlin Mitte and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location in Mitte is unbeatable—extremely walkable, surrounded by great restaurants and cafes, and conveniently close to a Kaufland grocery store for everyday essentials. Our room was huge, modern, and very comfortable. Having an equipped kitchenette with dishes and cups was a major plus, and my room even featured a Nespresso machine (our friends had a pour-over setup in theirs). Hands down, one of the best perks was the guest laundry facility: two washers, two dryers, and complimentary detergent pods (first come, first served), which was an absolute lifesaver during our travels. The only small detail worth noting is the bathroom design. The shower features an open glass enclosure with no door and zero privacy from the rest of the room. While totally fine for couples, it was a bit awkward for our friends who were traveling together platonically. Overall, the comfort, amenities, and location far outweighed that minor quirk. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was very clean and modern. The reception staff when we arrived were efficient but not especially welcoming. The room had very comfortable beds, was clean and tidy, but the lighting in the room was terrible - very dark. The pool is very small but pleasant, but the changing facilities in the spa were very cramped. The location of the hotel is excellent - very central and walking distance of most of the major sights. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast - fantastic selection on the buffet each morning which was all delicious, and good coffee. The only let down was one morning we came down they couldn’t find us a table because they were catering for a conference party and put us in the atrium public seating area away from the restaurant and expected us to walk back and forth up and down steps with our selection from the buffet which was not ideal because the hotel was so crowded. We had one evening meal on the first night which was tasty but small menu, small portions and overpriced compared to other local restaurants. The cocktails were good but again pricey. Overall a great first trip to Berlin thank you."
