A gathering of friends
We meet every two years to catch up on our lives and enjoy our long term friendship. We share dinners together and explore the local sights. The house had just what we needed, enough simple bedrooms to accommodate a large group plus space to prepare dinners, chat and relax. There were opportunities to explore the countryside, go for walks and bike rides, shop and visiit nearby towns. We all enjoyed our visit.

2nd annual cottage!
As a group of 18 it’s difficult to find properties that have the capacity to host a cottage weekend. We absolutely loved this chalet that Chris runs in Collingwood. Short drive away from the village, there’s a beach nearby along with some scenic caves to trek through and a driving range a couple minutes out. The property itself came well equipped in the kitchen and weren’t finding that there was anything missing. If you’re deliberating, don’t. Just book it, I promise that you will not be disappointed. Beautiful place
Beautiful place with lots of space for our Dad's 85th birthday celebration and family reunion. We were a group of 17 people from all over the country and it never felt crowded.

Big Chalet for Big Groups
We were a group of 13 for the two night stay. Beds were very comfy and the living area has a good hangout space. If people sleeping on the main floor get a good AC temp, then those sleeping in the basement freeze. So be ready to bundle up basement sleepers. Two dishwashers for a big group was very efficient. We needed more paper towels though, the two kitchen towels and one paper towel roll wasn’t enough for us to keep the kitchen clean after each usage for the 3 days. We played ping pong alot. The table and bats weren’t the greatest, but we still had fun with it. The close 15-20min walk to the village was convenient. The hot tub was perfect! The chalet is adjoined to another unit so it can get confusing during the checkin process. It would be convenient if there was a picture of the door to enter in. The owner was super responsive to any request. The place was kept very clean when we checked in.

Great space for a family reunion
The chalet was a great place for our family reunion. The top floor space was excellent for meals and table games, and there were bedrooms and bathrooms to spare. The younger kids loved the hot tub, and we all took trips to the private beach. The one thing missing that would have made it perfect was laundry facilities.

Bachelor Party Weekend
This place was perfect for our bachelor party group - had a ton of beds, a great kitchen and living room area with 2 TVs and a ping pong table for games. Also great location being a 15 min walk from the village. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome!
Chalet is absolutely beautiful, so well stocked with 2 kitchens. Beds are so comfortable we wanted to take them home. Multiple bathrooms, so no issue even with 20 women. Chris the host responded quickly to every question or concern. We will be booking again next year. Highly recommend.

Exceeded Expectations
Fantastic experience. Chris was lovely, easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions via email and text. The property was better than expected and the photos do not do it justice. Super cozy, well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, great congregation spaces and the dinner table is massive and fits plenty people. The outside is super cute as you’re walking in as well. Highly highly recommend this property for groups large and small

A great place for a large group

The online listing does not specify the distance to the private beach.
We had good time. The place accommodate more the 20 people. Its good the kitchen is furnished, you almost don't have to take any cooking amenities with you. Only this the listing does not specify the distance to the private beach, the way is listed and pictures posted it give an assumption it is a water front, but it is not. Overall it's great 👍

It was a cozy chalet, it was a big place to accommodate our big family of 20.
Two kitchens and 2 dishwashers were helpful. Only thing missing was coffee. Wish we knew that we had to get our own, we would have made arrangements. Over all we liked the property and the amenities.

Nice place. Very short drive to the village
Booked for a 13 person bachelor party. Would book again. Pros - Lots of parking/sleeping space - 4 washrooms - Large common area on top floor - Courtyard big enough for can jam, throw football, ect - Dishwasher on property, dumpster 50 feet from front door make cleaning easy - Short drive to the village. Con - Not really a ‘con’ as it’s clearly posted. But the ‘No hot tub after 11’ rule is enforced by private security (as some of my friends found out). So probably best not to rent the property if your sole goal is to use the hot tub starting at 11:01pm. No issues after the hot tub was vacated.

Hello Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again. Unfortunately the Town of the Blue Mountains past a bylaw last August prohibiting the use of hot tub use between the hours of 11pm and 7 am at all lisenced short term rental properties which security enforces.

Blue Mountain Chalet
The property worked perfectly for our family reunion of 13 people. Lots of room, well equipped and couldn’t hear neighbouring guests. Chris, the property manager, was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Private beach was great.

Would go again!
Clean and well equipped. The cottage was the perfect place to stay for a weekend of skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed and the two fridges were great. Be careful on the steps to the hot tub, my husband slipped and fell hard as they were covered in ice. Also, don’t forget to bring your own towels! Would go again for sure. It’s a perfect cottage for a large group at blue.

Amazing property for a big group and great host!
This place was perfect for a large group, there was 20 of us and it was spacious enough that it didn’t feel like anyone was on top of anyone. The kitchen table was great to accommodate the large group as well. Overall it was cozy, decorated very gorgeously and there was enough parking for the entire group. The host was extremely responsive and checked in often. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to book again!

Chalet in Collingwood
Property was not what I expected on the outside. Looked a bit run down. But the inside was beautiful! Great space for a family of 17 to gather, eat meals and play games. I found it a bit loud with several parties in the nearby chalets. But the location was great! Close to the village and just a short drive to a private beach. The chalet itself was well equipped however the oven did not work the best and a lot of the outlets had no power. The deck was a bit tired and a little small and the bbq was quite nice but some of the controls did not work. Overall I was happy with the property just wanted to give some constructive feedback.
