"Just got back from a fabulous week at Smith Mountain Lake. Hideaway Ridge was everything we could have wanted and more. 7 adults and one child had plenty of space to spread out. 3 of our group couldn't make it, but if they had been able to come, there were more than enough rooms for them.Convenient to Food Lion, restaurants, and the marina.Mark took good care of the pool and is such a nice guy. Thanks for everything. We can't wait to come back next summer."

"This was the first accessible room that fit our needs completely, such as lots of grab bars in the right places, a high bed mattress, large bathroom, plenty of room to roll around EXCEPT between the foot of the bed and dresser there was barely enough room to roll through, making nightime bathroom trips difficult. An other problem was no handicap parking anywhere in the front of the building. We had to go to the back which was poorly lighted, which made unloading the car or going somewhere after dark very concerning as it takes longer for us to get to the car and load his wheelchair and get in the car. We felt very unsafe at night and could be perfect targets for someone up to no good. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay."

"The house was great, we enjoyed the space, especially the screened in porch. The dock top level was great for sun bathing. The dock area is crowded, extremely close to neighbors. We had jet skis and a boat and with the low water level struggled to keep them secured. A floating dock would be a great addition."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our multigenerational family’s needs. It has a great main level bedroom and plenty of space to spread out. The home is conveniently located, beautiful, clean, and well stocked with all sorts of little extras. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and watching the deer roam through the woods and down the path towards the dock. It is so quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay again!"
