"This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back! "

"Wonderful two bedroom apartment with fully furnished kitchen. Just steps away from the water. Johann and his staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. Johann called us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and even called to give us notice that the northern lights were visible outside! The village of Eyrarbakki was within a two hour drive of everything we wanted to visit on our trip to the south coast and I as far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city that we could unwind and enjoy the sights. We will definitely be returning to Iceland in the future and Bakki Apartments will be our base camp again for sure. "

"Boutique hotel just outside Selfoss in the middle of a picturesque location nestled in the hills. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The sauna and the hot tub are exactly as advertised. Breakfast had a lot of options and they also has some cakes and cookies at all hours in the lobby. Overall very good experience and would definitely come back."

"This place is really in the middle of nowhere, but if you are heading east by the south coast, then it's perfect. We stayed here first stay after we arrived and it met our needs well. There is no staff. They give a code to the main door and code to your room. The room has the necessities. It's a no-frills simple suitable stay."
