"The check in process was clunky at best. I did not receive in advance a room assignment and access code. There were no staff on site to assist. Took 45 minutes just to get checked in. We stayed 3 nights and there was no room service to replenish things like coffee pods. Two people had only 2 pods for 3 nights - and no apparent way to request additional ones. The room had no heater other than a small space heater and no extra blankets - we had to sleep in layers. On the first day the lights went off and it took several hours before anyone to remedy the problem. My impression is that this property is undergoing a change in ownership and systems and it isn't quite ready for guests."

"Clean and neat rooms, charming and friendly reception, and a tasty (though limited) breakfast selection. It's located in a small town, so it's very quiet."

"The cabin was beautiful! It was clean, great layout and amenities. We had 3 kids in college stay with us in the bunkhouse a they loved being able to have their own hangout and still plenty of room in the main cabin for meals and games. "

"Absolutely stunning views. The house is well appointed with everything you would need, the beds are comfortable and it’s quiet. Laurie is an amazing hostess - I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in this area. "
