"This gem in Crestone is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. From the outside, it’s hard to imagine what’s inside, but once you step in, every corner reveals a unique and thoughtful detail. The beautifully crafted wooden windows and antique décor give the home a magical feel.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, making cooking easy. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well supplied with plenty of towels, linens, and essentials. The area is incredibly peaceful—just the sound of wind, birds, and an occasional distant dog.The fenced dog run right off the back door was a huge plus for us and perfect for pet owners. We visited in the spring, with warm days and cool evenings allowing for fresh cool breezes from wht windows. The stargazing from the deck was unforgettable. With plenty of seating, we enjoyed clear views of the Big and Small Dipper, Orion’s Belt, Betelgeuse, and more—just like the night sky before light pollution.What stood out most was the chance to truly unplug. The home was clean, secure, and inviting. There is a TV, but we never used it. Instead, we reconnected and relaxed. We left feeling refreshed and reenergized. If you’re looking for a peaceful, unique getaway, this Crestone rental is truly special.As a bonus check in was a breeze!"

"The 2-room suite we stayed in was perfect for my 3 kids and me. The apartment sized fridge, microwave, coffee bar and spacious living area were great. They even provided some paper plates, bowls, and plastic silverware for our use, which was an extra touch that just mad it all that more convenient. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our stay at the Stargazer! It was exactly what we needed. The views were breathtaking—sunsets and sunrises each day and stargazing at night. We enjoyed being close to the Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls as well as the proximity to the market in Crestone. The house was well stocked with all the amenities we needed for cooking each night and lots of linens. The host was helpful and fast with responses. We cannot say enough great things and would absolutely recommend staying here!"

"Air filters for heat/ac should be cleaned regularly. Room was acceptable, some in cover sheet bedding, shelving over the toilet for more towels and coffee maker in room would be welcome"

"We enjoyed the quiet location with beautiful views of the mountains. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beautiful decor made us feel comfortable and the natural cleaning products and bathroom equipment was a plus. Was very happy with the policy allowing us to bring our dog."

"This is a cute cabin that is well maintained and set up. The drive out to the cabin is dirt road and rough in spots but well worth it. Secluded cabin with trees and mountain view. The owner was very accommodating to us . We were traveling with 9 people and a dog. The beds were comfortable. The listing mentions a set of bunk beds. However those were not there. So the listing should probably be adjusted accordingly. We only stayed one night on our way east. There is a fire place and full kitchen. Overall it was an perfect spot for our needs. "

"We had a great time! It was a perfect time of year for us to visit Cutty’s. We look for places that are less crowded and quieter and this cabin checked those boxes for us. We also hiked around a little and it was amazing having National Forest so close. "
