"The hotel is beautiful but there were some negatives. The pool was not heated. The spa lacked a steam room. The restaurant food was not good at all (the most disappointing part). And they keep these large koi fish in an indoor pool area with no access to the sun. Koi need sun for their health. This to me was just pure animal cruelty. For that reason, they should be ashamed of themselves."

"Beautifully maintained resort. Pool is a highlight. It is family friendly pool that is well staffed for everything from setting you up in loungers and ordering food & drinks. The beach area was equally nice, again well staffed for a great day in the sun, sand & ocean. Food was excellent! We look forward to returning."

"Eddy was completely unprofessional. He was very rude and would not let me provide information that would have helped resolve the situation, even after standing there for 10 minutes while he talked to co-workers in the corner. He kept holding up his hand and saying we'll be with you in a minute. One of the piece of information I was trying to provide was that it sounded like they were looking at my listing from the weekend before which was one bedroom, but this visit I had booked a two bedroom. Brittany came to our rescue and tried to smooth things over but we still ended up with the wrong room. We did not get the sectional couch shown in the hotels listing and verbally confirmed to me by Brittany that are in the deluxe two room suites. She gave us a small gift basket with lotions, etc. The hot tub and pool are wonderful. I wish I had gotten the rooms that I paid for, but even though they are dated, they are spacious and the rooms with the jetted tubs were quite enjoyable. Even the balconies were large."

"The staff works very hard to keep rooms up and area's clean. The food is average but service is very good. You have access to great pool area's and bars and direct transportation to Universal attractions. It's an excellent spot to take a vacation with our without children."
