"Three pictures are OLD the pool does not look like the photos. There are trees all around the pool and it's always dirty, even during the process of being cleaned, the pool is still dirty! The beds roll around the floor and don't stay next to the wall, so your pillow falls through the crack. There is a light that shines into the windows at night. It is so bright the entire room is lit up and there's no way to cover the windows or make it dark. The mini-fridge is SO LOUD and the only way to make it quite is to unplug it. The fan squeals so loudly but with the fridge plugged in toy can't hear the fan *face palm* I don't think the heater in the room works as it never got above 70. We visited mid-April and it snowed on us. The pathways in the back are gravel...so mud after the rain. There is a SUPER creepy maze rock labyrinth in the field, piles of sticks, and a double decker bus with smashed in windows. It's major creep vibes!! Then the TV was flickering and freaking out. If you cross the bride, there is a cute walk along the river with flowers, it's really nice. The shops are only open on the weekends. Mike's Market is overpriced, but the refill drinks are GOOOOD the raspberry syrup is amazing! I only wish they also had coconut. The hot springs was under construction and the BEEP.BEEP.BEEP was so loud and not relaxing at all! Plus the sunken gardens was closed. I wish I had known everything was going to be closed, I would have came at a different time."

"I felt the room was super cute, and the hot tub in the mineral pool in my private area, with the fence, was amazing. However, I wish that somebody could go and clean it out maybe to clean it out daily as part of the cleaning of the room get new fake grass just simple tlc door didn't close all the way but pricey but was perfect for what I needed loved having my own yard wish the big area and tub would've been cleaner I needed up cleaning my own pool in yard they may have when I asked. Still, it didn't look like it, but this hotel has great potential, needs some updates, and the rooms would be worth the price, maybe even more. I wish it could renovate the rooms; it would be fun to make them more modern and add to the asking attributes! 1 store in town, very nice staff, and I definitely recommend stopping by the store for the already frozen adult Capri suns YUM! Not too many places to eat, maybe summertime is a better time to go to Lava. Floating the river would've been a great addition. But overall, it was the one-night getaway I needed! If they ever want help giving it some TLC, I'd love to help. It truly has the potential to be great, and match its room prices, possibly even get more for the rooms with just the right touches! I'd go back to try it again. The actual state-funded hot springs are within walking distance and very nice! "

"Older motel that was clean. Beautiful surroundings with campground, with lots of grass trees and the Portneif River running through it. Missing Kleenex box and towel bar in bathroom. Staff very friendly. "

"We had a wonderful stay. It started when when we checked in. The staff is so friendly. The private hot pools on the property were awesome. The breakfast was delicious - homemade quiche and bearclaws and turnovers. The coffee is excellent too. You can't go wrong. Treat yourself to a stay at the Riverside. "

"The house is outstanding. the three masters bedrooms made it very comfortable for our group. The loft area is also very nice, but is an open area divided into two sections or "rooms'. We enjoyed feeding the horses in the pasture and the breakfast service they can provide as an extra service. we'll definitely re-book if we are in the area.."
