"We had traveled a few hours in the car and we arrived before normal check-in time and the receptionist was so wonderful. She moved a few things around so that I could get into the room early to lay down. I can’t even tell her how much I appreciated that day."

"We've stayed here twice now, while the beds are wonderful and same for the linens, the hotel is showing it's age. The nooks and crannies have buildup of some kind, the safe doesn't work (and we were told that most of them don't), the spa still isn't working (it wasn't working two years ago either), and the grout in the bathroom is pretty icky. The staff is outstanding! They are genuinely interested in the person on the other side of the counter. They are friendly and have always had a smile. They have greeted us every time we've walked in and have wished us a good day when we've left for the day. Housekeeping has been very good as well and those doing the work have been friendly. Overall I have no complaints other than the issue related to the age of the hotel."
