The hotel was excellent 👌 and the staff were incredible people and polite. The breakfast at the roof top was amazing and the food was delicious. The hotel is in the centre and near to all the shops and promenade. Highly recommend. The room was clean and spacious and was very nice.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely city.

Our stay was very pleasurable. The room was very clean and comfortable, and nice and cool! Breakfast was excellent; a fantastic buffet, great coffee and made-to-order omelets! The staff were absolutely outstanding in their desire to help and ensure our stay was comfortable. A special shout-out to the staff for recommending excellent restaurants and retrieving my husband's lost glasses in an Uber taxi! The location was very convenient, near the waterfront and easy walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, bars and cafes. I very highly recommend staying here, and would stay here again.

I stayed at The Modernist in Thessaloniki and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely excellent—one of the best I’ve had at a hotel—and the location is perfect for exploring the city. When I return to Greece, I definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommend The Modernist to anyone looking for a beautiful hotel with wonderful people in the perfect spot!

Gem in the heart of Thessaloniki

We loved this place. Staff were incredibly responsive. Room had a unique but very functional and comfortable design. It was very quiet, but in the midst of the city—a perfect combination for us. The breakfast buffet, served in the rooftop terrace, was just phenomenal. We would love to stay here again.
