Thiennes Hotels

"a great budget hotel."

"Great breakfast and freindly welcome "

"This hotel was booked owing to its convenient location for our plans, including Cassel. It is close to the railway lines from Calais and Dunkerque and freight trains may disturb sleep if the window is open."

"Lovely Chateau for our 4 day stay. Ideal central location for exploring Northern France. Hosts are great, the lady of the house is American & a great cook whilst her French husband speaks fluent English. Fresh bread & pastries every morning with the usual cheese, ham, yoghurts, juices & coffee/tea. Loads of parking & a large garden. We will definitely be back next year!"

"I've stayed here several times and never been disappointed."

"Breakfast was really nice with everything fresh and even bacon and scrambled egg. Staff were really nice and friendly, complimenting my wife on her French whilst also being good wirh English"

"Great staff, great breakfast, can't go wrong for the money."

"Starting to feel a little older, but still a great place to stop - easy access to the town and the autoroute to Calais."

"Excellent place for short stays "

"Room was spacious, lovely view. Warm and comfortable . Good shower"

"Simple, clean place to stay on route to somewhere. "

"Great location, delicious breakfast, nice rooms!"

"Beautifully presented, clean and tidy, friendly welcome, great local knowledge. Highly recommended"

"Stayed for 1 night, very clean and comfortable, Isabelle was very welcoming. Bought cold beer from her little shop. Breakfast next morning was beautiful and in stunning surroundings "

"It's a shame the restaurant never seems to be open anymore"

"Tres bien place"

"Excellent, unique place. Very friendly, hospitable and accomodating host. Really nice continental breakfast of fresh produce. Overall experience was fantastic and the house is magnificent."

"Unique accommodation (quirky even) from access via lock boxes (great!) to the space itself, multilevel with a separate sitting area and bathroom. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, a fan was provided to keep the room cool (it was 32C outside) and the shower was hot and powerful. There was a large flatscreen TV with lots of channel choices too. Breakfast was provided on a tray outside the room. If you like a non-invasive experience, in an old, stylish, unique property, in the centre...

"Really lovely chateau short but perfect stay"
