This is a unique piece in Europe: a WW II Krupp K5 railway gun (type "Leopold"). The K5 could project a 250 kg shell up to almost 70 km and could fire 15 rounds per hour. #OpalCoast (Most notorious during WW II are the two guns of Eisenbahnbatterie 712. To support the defence of the Gustav Line [Italy], the two K5 were sent to the area around Anzio where they arrived just after the Allied landings.
