Constantly looking for my next adventure.

Drove up to the top of Captain Cook drive at 1770 to watch the sunrise on a lookout. Instead, we found this beautiful and secluded beach cove, surrounded by these really cool rock formations (with different colours too!). I could easily spend a day here just reading a book and admiring the views.

Pacific or White Necked Heron. I have labeled this Springsure and that was certainly the town, but this little waterhole with natural slide is right by the highway. Problem is, I can't remember which end of town - it is just out of town, so if you didn't pass it on the way in, it is the other end - but would be worth asking a local in case the current weather conditions mean it either isn't running or is dangerous. Beautiful spot for a swim, some bird watching and a picnic.
