Shopping local is such a pleasure! The St. John's Farmer's Market at the Remax Centre on Saturdays is such a joy to visit. I look forward to seeing them in their new, bigger and better venue next year! My favourite vendors are The Blue Box Pantry for scrumptious soups, and St. John's Soap Works for natural body products made with local flavours.
Either jam jam marrtini on the go? ZOMG YUM! I DIES for a jam jam martini. The SJ Fish Exchange is just brilliant - not only is it modern and gorgeous and sexy inside, but they do my ever-so-favourite thing which is to turn local basics into fancy treats. Really, peeps...the jam jam martini. It's worth it. Trust me. While you're at it, give the lobster mac and cheese a go!
