There used to be a thermal bath there which now is abandoned and also there was a fancy hotel which was destroyed by an avalanche. The only thing remaining is a church building which is not used anymore and souvenir stands.

This place is breathtaking, full of minerals and hot springs and also with a touching tale. It refers to an Incan chief, that came to this land to find a cure for his ill son. The warriors made a bridge with their bodies, so the chief could cross. When they pass this, the chief and his ill son realized that the men were petrified, forming a real bridge.
