The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area so you must walk in with your luggage. The hotel is on the first floor with no elevator. The Republic parking lot is closest and free between 7pm and 9 am. Google directions will not let you drive to the hotel as it is in the pedestrian area. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all a good stay.

The room was clean and spacious. There was no coffee or tea in the room, but I wasn't expecting that at this price. The staff spoke basic English, so I could still communicate with them without any major problems. Since this isn't really a touristy area and most of the guests seemed to speak French, I didn't expect the staff to be fluent in English. The breakfast was a lovely, typical French breakfast. There was a variety of pastries, including croissants, donuts, cupcakes, and toast, along with different spreads such as Nutella, honey, and jam. They also offered hot drinks (coffee, tea, and hot chocolate), orange juice, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, yogurt, and milk. The protein options were limited, but overall, it was a really good French breakfast. The only downside is that it's a typical old hotel without an elevator, and my room was on the third floor. Let's just say it was a good workout! 😂 The location was great, right in the center of the old town, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. One thing to keep in mind: I think the main door gets locked around 10 PM, so make sure to ask for the door code if you plan to stay out late at night. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the experience of staying in a traditional hotel in the old town.

I arrived by motorcycle and there is private safe parking in the courtyard for motorcycles and bicycles which is excellent. The owner met me (a fellow motorcyclist) and checked me in. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is tired but clean and comfortable. No Aircon but the fan in the room kept me nice and cool so all worked well. Small room and not much space for luggage but it is slap bang in the centre so you can't expect much else. Slept very comfortably and left early the next day.

The staff were warm and friendly and room was nice and clean. It was a little difficult to find as it has a doorway leading up to reception on the first floor. However, it is also right in the middle of town which was great.

Familie værelse med to værelser. Separat bad og toilet en fordel. Højt til loftet og store vinduer. Ventilatorer på værelserne. Hotellet ligger på en gågade, dog er der flere (betalte) parkeringsmuligheder inden fof 300-500 meter. Parkering er gratis i weekender. Venlig personalet. Flot gammal bygning indvendigt. Både Luxembourg og Metz ligger inden for kort afstand mdd bil. På værelserne var extra puder. De største håndklæder, vi har oplevet på et hotel. Kvalieten var fin. Def var rent. Personalet var meget venligt. Value for money. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel à Thionville. La chambre était agréable et propre, tout comme l'ensemble de l'établissement. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville et à proximité de tout. Le personnel est accueillant et bienveillant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. J'y étais avec ma mère, qui est particulièrement attentive à la propreté et à la qualité des lieux. Et pour une fois, elle n'avait absolument rien à redire, ce qui est sans doute le meilleur compliment que l'on puisse faire ! Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu l'occasion de tester le petit-déjeuner, donc je ne peux pas me prononcer à ce sujet. À noter pour les personnes à mobilité réduite ou voyageant avec de gros bagages : l'hôtel ne dispose pas d'ascenseur, du moins je n'en ai pas vu, et l'accueil se situe au premier étage. Note globale : 5/5. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel, pour rendre visite à mon frère vivant au Luxembourg. Idéalement situé à la frontière, à 30 min de Luxembourg Ville. Hôtel en plein centre de Thionville, dans une rue piétonne. Accès facile et grand parking gratuit 1200 places à 5 min à pied. Le propriétaire est accueillant et chaleureux. Nuit agréable et calme. Petit déjeuner copieux, et d'un bon rapport qualité prix pour 10€. Gros + : machine à jus d'orange frais. À recommander +++

Prima hotel qua prijs en kwaliteitsverhouding. Verwacht geen luxe, maar het ontbijt is heel netjes en personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Afmetingen familie kamer is netjes en de badkamer had zelfs een ligbad.
