"Four of us stayed here for a couple of nights and it was perfect. Granted the rooms are a little dated but everything was clean, everything worked and the beds were comfortable. They also provided breakfast which was plentiful. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were all very courteous and friendly. Great location also."

"Got a free upgrade to our room which was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Parking spaces in front of the building could use to be wider due to the fact that more people are driving full size trucks which makes parking tighter and subjects people to door bumps. Staff were awesome and the breakfast was good. Thanks."

"This hotel is pretty dated. The lobby looks mildly upgraded in the last 10 years, but from the elevators to the rooms and the guest floors, it all looks like original decor and is probably 40+ years old. My bedsheets felt stiff and not terribly comfortable. The lighting in the room was cold, and the air conditioner unit had a humming sound whenever it was not running. I had to turn the unit completely off to make the humming stop. The lobby restaurant, on the other hand, was obviously much more recently updated and was excellent. Location is excellent, but I wouldn't want to stay more than 1-2 nights here."

"It is an affordable option for a hotel near the Halifax airport. We stayed at the front end and back end of our trip - our rooms were very dated but clean, very basic, which did suit our needs. Front desk staff were somewhat abrupt - not rude - but very specific about the rules of the hotel - not very welcoming. The free breakfast ends exactly at 10am - no exceptions - and what is provided is minimal and not exciting whatsoever. Parking is plentiful."

"Can’t say enough good about our stay! They went out of their way to make this weekend special for me as I’m a bride to be and booked this stay during my wedding dress shopping trip! My mom also forgot an item and the host was so wonderful about getting it back to us! The stay has GREAT views and the host is SO responsive 10/10!"

"This hotel is ideally situated a 15 minute drive from downtown Halifax or walkable to the ferry to get to Halifax. The front desk has 24 hour service, the rooms are clean with all the necessary amenities including a microwave, mini fridge and hair dryer. The staff is friendly and responsive. They offer made to order complimentary, hot breakfast. Complimentary coffee and tea is always available in the front lobby. In addition, this being an older hotel, there is quite a bit of character in the furniture, the lighting, the doors and the breakfast/bar area. For your entertainment, there are also slot machines and a dart board. Parking is free. We would stay again!"
