My family loved the rustic ski cabin in the woods!!! It was just the right size for family of four! Bummed we could only get away for a night, but will be back again!!
The property is perfect for a stay at Crystal Mountain. Just a two minute walk to the closest lift and all that Crystal has to offer. The cabin is super cozy and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

This was a very nice place! My family and I had lots of fun !
We stayed 4 nights here. The location was perfect, walkable to the ski village and slopes. Great parking at the house. The kitchen and living area were perfect for the 3 of us, kitchen was well-stocked. The updates to the bathrooms were very well done. Will definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed stayinf here! The walk to the slopes waa not terrible but also not something i would want to do with kids. The shuttle service was very prompt though!
My family and I drove up to ski at Crystal Mountain over the weekend. It was so nice to have this cozy cabin to come back to at the end of a long day of skiing. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had a fully equipped kitchen for us to whip up a quick dinner. We really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed staying at this cabin due to the cleanliness, cozy cabin feel, and convenience to the ski resort. They had everything we needed at the cabin. Loved the view out the windows!
The house was great and had all we needed. All of the activities to do on site was such a surprise! The pool and market were such great perks! Very Family friendly!
We absolutely loved this place! The host was so thoughtful and everything was so convenient! It was warm and cozy, and so close to the ski lodge! We enjoyed eating and watching movies together! It was just a wonderful experience overall! We’ll definitely be returning! 💕
We stayed at Carrie's place last week for a quick overnight getaway with our young adult kids, and it was the PERFECT place for our family! The kids and their friends loved the open bunk style upstairs with the foosball table, and we loved the cozy living room and private master bedroom. It's a short drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and all the beauty of Northern Michigan — not to mention the fun of being inside Crystal Mountain Resort. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends! Loved it!
Carrie, our host, was responsive to all communications from beginning to end.
I found the details of the listing and photos accurate. A few hidden delights: proximity to resort and nearby attractions. A nice retreat for our family.
Spent time walking, reading, kayaking, swimming at lake Michigan and cooking a homemade meal.
Would easily recommend this home
to others.
Great location, easy to walk to the resort. Very cute and clean. My only negative comment would be that the furniture is very uncomfortable, especially the primary bedroom. The mattress and bed frame seem very old, and the old foam mattress topper just makes it worse. I couldn’t sleep on the bed, I had to sleep in the bunk bed upstairs which was also not that comfortable. The couch is also very uncomfortable. It all just seems like cheap furniture. However, we spent most of our time on the slopes so it didn’t end up being a huge deal. The sleeping situation was the only problem. Also, bring your own toilet paper!!
Super cute place—well designed house and great (BEST!) location overlooking golf course. Clean and nicely decorated with easy access and parking. The house has many exceptional features—tall ceilings, bigger updated bathroom, and with an amazing second floor. Very nice deck, patio set and grill for outdoor relaxing. My only wish would have been that the kitchen was updated like the rest of the house (we don’t like to eat out all the time). And it would have been nice to have cleaning supplies available to wipe down areas before cooking, and maybe some foil, plastic bags, plastic sealing products. The main bedroom seemed a bit dark with a light out, and a little cramped. But overall, the house is fantastic and we had a wonderful time! Thank you for sharing your home.
This was a nice little house that was just a short walk from everything you need. The location was beautiful. The property was quiet and everything worked as it should. There were plenty of items like towels and blankets, but the kitchen could use some things like more silverware and at least one rubber spatula. We cooked a lot and appreciated the variety of pots and pans. The bedrooms don't have any dressers though, and the main bedroom was extremely small, so living out is a suitcase was rather difficult. The main bedroom also has a metal footboard which I wouldn't recommend. It had several sharp knicks in it and my husband cut himself just running his hand along it, so beware. The furniture could have been more comfy, but I understand that space is an issue. Overall, it's a nice place and you can't beat the location.

Cozy, clean cabin in wonderful location. Walking distance to everything Crystal Mountain offers. There’s even a market you can walk to if you need anything. We’ve stayed here 2 times now and we love it!
A quiet, peaceful, and excellent location! Me and my friends needed a weekend away and this was the perfect location and home. The hosts were great at communicating. The place had everything we needed, including great needs.
