Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach

We booked the bay for our young family because it was the end of our trip and we wanted to just sit by the pool or play at the beach and to not have to leave the resort for anything. Upon check in we were informed the restaurant was closed due to low season. They only did a limited pre order breakfast and could only serve breakfast at 8.30am. Because of the remote location it was a a min 10min walk to the nearest restaurant (which was also by reservation only) or a 40min wait for a grab food delivery. If you have small children you know that this is not ideal. I had booked months in advance and not once did the resort communicate that the restaurant would be closed and it is not mentioned once on their website. When we went for showers we had no hot water, as in no water at all when it was turned to hot. We also noticed a bug infestation in the bedside light strip. We stayed 1 out of 4 nights and when we requested a refund it was denied due to our booking being non refundable. We stated that our booking was not as advertised but the big boss of the resort didn't seem to care. The rooms and the property seem run down and limited maintenance. We in no way think badly of the staff, the staff we met were as helpful as they could be and the beach was fabulous!

Fabulous location. Wonderful and friendly staff. Rooms cleaned daily along with towels changed. Delicious breakfast. Super place to stay. Lovely little infinity pool overlooking the beach
