"Your opinion on this place has a LOT to do with your expectations. There are several of these along the river that are more exotic and romantic (more privacy), but this was still a great 1 night experience with our family. It is extremely rustic with thin walls and no electricity. Hard to sleep if you have noisy neighbors. BUT, the easy hike to the neighboring Mon village and seeing the local elephant gives this location an added bonus if you have kids. Food is good and location is clean. ...

"This is a very special y property - we loved our stay! Our driver dropped us at Phutakien Pier and the long tail boat was already there, they are transferring guests to the resort regularly in the afternoon . Lots of free drinks and food in fridge. Nice restaurant. No mosquitoes in December. Nice pool at sister resort 5 mins walk away - you can return for free to the float house from the pier. Beutiful room and was very quiet. Reasonably priced massages. "
