Motel 6 Ventura, CA - Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect"
Palm Garden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great place to stay. On weekdays my both sides of room were occupied, but I didn’t hear almost any sound. Amazing! Room was spacious and easy to access grass areas outside of buildings for my dog. Breakfast was nice, too. I will be back there when we need."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park
8/10 Good
"Overall, we enjoyed our 6 day stay at La Quinta Inn-Thousand Oaks, CA. Still, there were certain things which gave us pause and were respectfully reported to front-desk staff on day one, but were not fully addressed. 1. Room inside door safety "swing bar latch", not in place. Bar latch missing and all mounting screws "half-way out" of door ball-latch portion. Issue reported 08/17. Issue persisted throughout our 6 day stay to 8/22. 2. Room A/C system "short-cycle" issue. 5 min or less cycle time regardless of temp setting. A/C housing had bad Graffiti. Issues persisted throughout 6 day stay. 3. Shower glass sliding door (inside door) lower slide track broken. Heavy glass door would swing in while closing to shower causing fear that door would fall off track and break. Issue persisted throughout 6 day stay. 4. Room floor behind beds very dirty. Dropped ear-bud on floor and while retrieving ear-bud, heavy dirt and grime including a "sock" from a previous guest was found between bedding frame and wall of one of the queen beds. All above concerns were reported again during checkout on 8/22 and front desk receptionist thanked us and awarded us a $85 dollar discount on our bill."
