"Caretaker Kori was best ever ! Even though had very late night checkin ,she was there for us to open the cabin and help us get situated.. she even has started a fire in the wood burning stove for us !!! "We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!"

Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. "We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. "

Peaceful retreat
"Our vacation to Yosemite and Sequoia was wonderful and included staying at this beautiful house in the foothills in Three Rivers. Perfectly located and convenient to several restaurants and the Village Market where you’ll find everything you need (if you want to cook). Dusty was a wonderful host. Communicated timely. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, tastefully decorated and very cozy. Much appreciated after long days of hiking and exploring. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool or spa but it looked very inviting and clean. The sound of the roaring river nearby was very peaceful. The road to get to the house is a single lane mountain road with some curves that can be problematic if you’re not paying attention or planning ahead for an oncoming car. Only once did someone else come around too fast. I highly recommend Dusty’s cabin if you are planning a trip to Sequoia NP!"
