Why Spring & Fall Are the Best Times to Visit
These are our favorite seasons!! And when experienced travelers tend to visit:

    Spring
    Waterfalls at peak flow
    Wildflowers + wildlife
    Ideal white water rafting conditions

    Fall
    Crisp air, golden light
    Fewer crowds, better access
    Perfect hiking temperatures

If you prefer space, calm, and optimal conditions, these seasons consistently outperform summer.

Liked: Location
The location was great and the hosts were super communicative. There was definitely room for our family. There was a lot of redwood finishes in the house that the hosts were very particular about maintaining. I completely understand, but would not recommend if you have small children as you might not feel as relaxed while there.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Private quiet property off a private road in the wilderness. Heard coyotes howling at night, experienced spiders, even a scorpion, and beautiful birds...different experience for this city girl. 20 minutes without traffic to Sequoia entrance. 1 hr with traffic. Enjoyed Three Rivers brewery and Pizza Factory but know that everything shuts down by 10pm. The house was clean. Linens and towels were nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Warm water from the only shower takes time. Hot tub was clean and hot, once it warmed up. The coffee bar was the best! So fun to try different methods including French press. Coffee beans and espresso pods provided.
