Worn down city which is not worth staying






Unique features of Tiberias Old City include the lake views and shopping. Make a stop by Tiberias Marina or Casa Dona Gracia while you're exploring the area.

Awesome, it was amazing being there. The staff are the best part -everyone is so kind -and the manager is amazing, and the hotel is very well organized.

The best place to stay when you vist Tveria. Amazing service. Really enjoyed the stay. We booked 3 rooms and the people were amazingly nice. The place clean just a great experience Pleasently surprised. Great vibes.

Great location, very helpful off-site manager, outdoor pool, BBQ area and indoor hot pool / Turkish Bath. Small room with spa bath but not ideal for a longer stay.

Worn down city which is not worth staying
The town is old and quite rundown with few decent places to eat or facilities.If you have a car, there is plenty to see and do around the lake.
Unfortunatly we were not on an organized tour, and we were not able to walk for long times. We did manage to hire a taxi for a morning to travel to some local sites, which proved to be very interesting. We liked Tiberias town very much and enjoyed
Buy food from the supermarket to keep costs down or go to Little Tiberias for good food. Alternatively there are the ubiquitous shawarma and Falafel places on the main drag. Start early to avoid painful traffic
Proximity to sites was ideal, especially if you have a hire car
