We had a late arrival. The receptionist was very helpful setting the checkin for us after working hours. The facility is fully renovated and very unique in a good way

A hidden gem
We were lucky to find this hidden gem of a hotel. Very old buildings with vaulted ceilings, thick walls, furnished with period pieces. Very modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast is perfect, if you can't find something you like something is wrong with you. All in all we loved the place.

Staff at check-in was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. Lovely historical period property with thatched roof. My room had low wooden beams, had to be careful around them.

Wonderful, Unique Stay
Such a wonderful little gem! Staying here was a unique experience, like stepping back in time. The accommodations are charming and authentic. The breakfast provided was quite a large spread and very hearty. When checking in, the room I'd booked was unavailable (apparently a discrepancy between Hotels.com and the actual business) but luckily I was upgraded at no additional cost.

Nydelig opphold.
Eiendommen er superfin og spesiell. Nydelig hage. Rommet var stort lyst og komfortabelt. Frokosten var kjempegod med nybakt brød og hjemmelaget syltetøy. Deilig basseng. Eneste minus er at det er et stykke å gå til ting. Byen lår man lett til fots til tross for lett oppoverbakke. Men det er et stykke til strendene. Er nok en fordel å ha bil. Vi kom oss greit rundt med buss. Lettvint og billig for f eks tur til Balatonfüred.

Hotell i et gammelt hus
Houses of History er et fint sted å bo, det ligger rolig til i bakken under bysentrum. I bestillingen min stod det at jeg skulle ha delvis sjøutsikt fra rommet, det fikk jeg ikke. Rommet er likevel stort, men det føltes mørkt der. Frokosten var flott med langos og andre lokale produkter.

Aufpassen!!! Bitte immer kontrollieren was euch von der Kreditkarte abgebucht wird!!! Bei uns sind Phantasie Summen nachträglich abgebucht worden!! Auf Nachfrage warum das gemacht wurde hieß es es sein Fehler passiert und das Geld wird zurück bezahlt😡leider haben wir noch keine Antwort/Geld erhalten

Wir waren im July 2 Nächte im Haus of History. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Sie sind wesentlich schöner als auf den Bildern. Das historische Haus ist von einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Im Garten befindet sich zwei Feigenbäume, aus deren Früchten machen sie Marmelade für das Frühstück Buffet. Uns hat der aufenthalt sehr gefallen, wir können das Hotel weiter enfehlen.

We fall in love with this hotel!
직원분들도 친절하시고, 숙소 상태도 너무 좋았음. 특히 호텔 분위기가 너무 좋았음. 수영장도 넓고 깊이도 적당하고 무엇보다도 깨끗해서 좋았음. 조식도 간단하긴하지만 맛이있었음!

Szuper wellness, bőséges reggeli, tiszta komfortos szoba. Svédasztalos vacsora csak 19.30-ig,utána csak étlapról lehet rendelni.A wellness lehetne tovább nyitva, mondjuk 21.00-ig.

Lekkie rozczarowanie.
Moim zdaniem opinia o tym miejscu jest lekko zawyżona. Klimat obiektu, trawniki, kwiaty, strzecha na dachu, okolica, wystrój łazienki i śniadania - super, ale już odpadające płytki na chodniku, jakieś graty na podwórku, pajęczyny (których naprawdę ciężko nie zauważyć) nad łóżkiem w pokoju, brak zasłony i jakiejkolwiek półki na kosmetyki pod prysznicem, bardzo strome i wąskie schody oraz osy gniazdujące obok wyjścia na te schody - nie za bardzo przypadły mi do gustu. Panie z obsługi były miłe, ale nie mówiły po angielsku, ponadto proces zameldowania trwał około 15 - 20 minut i odbywał się w języku niemieckim, bez zapytania nas, czy tym językiem się posługujemy (na szczęście znamy podstawy, więc udało się dość sprawnie porozumieć). Plus za moskitiery w oknach pokoju, ale minus za jej brak w oknie łazienkowym.

Frühstück war das einzigste was in Ordnung war. Laut Angaben des Hotels täglichen Reinigung der Zimmer, dies hat innerhalb der 14 Tage nicht statt gefunden, es musste um frische Handtücher gebeten werden. Beschwerde wird folgen. Für längere Aufenthalte nicht zu empfehlen, wir waren sehr enttäuscht.
