Etwa 160x200 cm. 18. Villa Pilar with Sea and Mountain View, Pool & Garden

Tijarafe - La Palma

"Good place for us to stay as it had everything we wanted and was very clean on arrival. Liked that we were left alone but manager was easily contactable if any questions. Lovely big pool but quite deep for small children. Perfect for adults. Access road is steep but managed it fine both on foot and in the car. Roads around La Palma are quite mountainous obviously so quite steep and bendy but got used to them after a couple of days. Would return."

"Pros: Great privacy surrounded by banana plantations, very still and peaceful. Amazing views and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. The Villa itself is stunning, tucked away into the La Palma hillside. Carlos the host was extremely helpful, even assisting us late at night when stranded a few miles away from the property. If you’re a couple, you need to be comfortable in each other’s company - you won’t see many other people! Cons: This property is lovely but also remote. Guests need to ensure...

H10 Taburiente Playa

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel is fabulous food and drinks service is second to none ,staff are very helpful ,clean rooms love staying here"

Apartments La Palma Affiliated by Meliá

8/10 Good

"We had a room with a full sea view which was delightful. There was a lift and ramps to the room and around the hotel so good for less mobile and families with prams. However there are about 48 steps if you want to go down to the beach. Bus stop just a short walk. Beds were comfortable and having a bath with shower over is good for a nice soak. Large balcony would have had room for a clothes airer and perhaps a lounger. As this is a self catering apartment a tea towel would have been appreciated. Luckily we had packed our own"

Apartment 'Casa Garten' with Sea View, Private Pool and Wi-Fi

10/10 Excellent

"Pros: The private pool, the private garden, the private terrace with ocean views. The spectacular sunsets. The comfortable bed. The first class bathroom. Cons: We have zero complaints, but we do have a few suggestions to really put the cherry on top of this amazing place! The feeling of being in your own private outdoor space would be enhanced if there was some sort of door or gate to separate the hosts' patio area, even symbolically. Some better lighting at night would be an excellent idea, we used candles - not so practical - but the beautiful rockeries made with volcanic rock are so pointy that at night you know all about it if you stub your toe! I think there are a couple to places where hammocks could be hung pretty easily in this oasis."
