While the hotel grounds were nice and the staff were friendly, the room and overall amenities were disappointing. The AC in my room was not working properly, and the room was 84 degrees. The hot water in the shower took over 15 minutes to turn on, and the mini fridge did not work. There was also no ice machine available. The internet was extremely patchy and barely worked during my stay, which was very frustrating. The gym was another issue—it had no fan or AC and was extremely hot, making it uncomfortable to use. Overall, I was not pleased with my stay and expected much better accommodations and amenities. On the positive side, the food was good and the staff were very nice.

Miguel was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. He made us fresh squeezed orange juice for dinner and breakfast and watermelon mojitos! Good breakfast buffet included. Saxophonist serenade at Sunday breakfast! Paid dinner at pool side with nice dim lighting. Quiet. The whole place looked like was a 5 star place in its hay day. But was a bit worn but clean and functional. Free valet parking, bell hop was helpful with our luggage to and from the room to the car, no fridge, good soft towels, beds were comfortable, pool was closed early at 5pm night we were there for cleaning. We were planning on swimming. Bummer. And it was so quiet. It was very relaxing. Good location. Was able to bring my service dog with proper documentation. I’d stay again. Thank you for a nice stay.

The hotel was okay. For $147 US a nice get, there are much nicer hotels in Tijuana. The AC is HORRIBLE. Weird configuration in the rooms with no return air vent really. Poorly designed return duct. So we had to ask for a fan to cool the room with the AC. And it was REALLY hot outside and in the room. Even though I paid for a room with 3 beds but only marked it as 1 person (the price is the same with 1 or 2 people). I didn’t know these a free buffet included. There were two of us, and even though the price would still be the same, the receptionist told me she could only give me 1 buffet because I only marked my room with 2 beds as 1 traveler. And the shower was missing a piece needed to turn it on, So I had to fiddle around to figure out how to use it and get it to work. And I don’t why Tijuana hotels are like this but they always use the cheapest, hardest pillows and mattresses. Not sure why. Maybe they haven’t figured out that a comfortable stay creates return guests. Besides that, the room as ok. Kind of like a Holiday Inn room in the 90s. But there are better hotels in TJ for the same price.

Good Stay. Only issue. Not their fault. Would be lights kept going out! Back up generators did not kick in. So sitting in the bar with no lights for maybe over 2 hours. Made the best of it and drank and spoke with staff.

Been staying here every year since 2006. Pumas comes to town, we attend, religiously. NO MORE BAR = No air conditioning for 15 days Black out = After game we come back to find the hotel is out of power, lobby is fine but all rooms are out, elevators too, no air conditioning- 90 degrees inside Purchased a Starbucks drink, I was told by the waiter that I could not have a outside drink it at the buffet with my breakfast. Purchased a fast pass, to cross boarder, $42 My car plates where wrong on scanning sheet, I asked could they please fix, NO - I had to purchase another pass with correct plate info. Was never offered anything to make up for the black out, NOTHING!! electricity out for 6 hrs

chose this hotel after reading reviews. stayed only 1 night and it was regretful. the pool water was murky and very over crowded. The hotel itself seems it hasn’t had an upgrade in atleast 2 decades. The plumbing is terrible, we were woken up by the sound of the water running through pipes as other guest was showering. Walls were dirty. and buffer was overpriced. over all not a pleasant stay and will never book another night there. the only good thing were employees were nice

The Wi-Fi was an issue and I discovered that half the hotel has been renovated and the othe half has not. the access points for the Internet don’t work in the older part sk there’s a really bad Wi-Fi in a lot of the rooms. Luckily, they moved me to one of the newer rooms, but I had to go and check out internet speeds in a few locations. The third room was the one that actually had decent Internet. So if WIFI is important, this might not be best option

Upon arriving to the hotel the front staff greeted us. The room wasn’t ready for an early check in however they tried their best to deliver it as early as possible. The check in areas was warm and the room could be slot cleaner and updated. The level we got was being worked on. Rooms were old and needed a better clean. Breakfast was good and staff were awesome. Pool area was clean, however when we were ready to use the pool, it was closed due to what I was told being extra dirty from the night prior. Unfortunate because we were ready for it to be open at 8am as stated and still by 10am it was closed. So no pool use for my family as we were checking out.
