"Hotel is dated but the rooms are good. Shower has lots of pressure and hot water. Room was clean but I did find a couple hairs in the bathroom and in the bed."

"Right from the moment i called to confirm some confusion I had with my booking which they quickly cleared up, to the very easy, fast, friendly and efficient check in I was at ease with my choice of properties to stay at during my visit! Upon entering my room I was impressed that it was so clean., had everything i could want or need, to enjoy my stay, roomy and extremely comfortable! Despite there being numerous other guests at the hotel I enjoyed complete peace and quiet throughout my stay, In the morning I enjoyed a wonderful full complimentary breakfast, with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, fruit and delicious pastries to go with my coffee. Check out was smooth and seamless! Every staff member I met was friendly, helpful and professional. The entire property is clean especially my room. The only negative that I noted was there was a slight musty smell in the room upon entering. I brought this up to staff and they took care of it and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. I highly recommend this Hotel as a preferred place to stay while visiting Chatham Kent and I will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful stay to everyone on the team this weekend! Sunrise Retreat - Lakefront Cottage w/ Hot Tub

"This place was like a little piece of heaven! The cottage was emaculate when we arrived and the decor is wonderful - fishing village/beach vibe. It was so soothing listening to the waves right outside while sitting on the patio or having the window open at night. There is a spectacular willow tree over the lower patio which shielded us from the light rain so we were still able to enjoy being outside when we got some misty weather. We thoroughly enjoyed spending each evening in the hot tub, although the jets weren't as strong as I usually like, but that's personal preference. Watching the sunrise and moon rise over the water (which I have never seen like that) was spellbinding! We spent a lot of time exploring the area, little beaches, shops, went kayaking in Point Pelee (the cottage has an annual family pass available for use) and actually spent much more time at the cottage than we normally would because it was so homey and well stocked. Breanna was very quick to answer any questions and after I realized my husband accidentally threw our wet bathing suits (packed in a garbage bag) in the garbage, she found them and mailed them back to us! What a wonderful stay and we will certainly be back!"

"Beautiful property. Beautiful location. Thanks for the popcorn. The amenities were great. The incredible midge swarms were unexpected. I guess the compensating factor was being witness to this incredible display of nature.Maybe some small improvements like more dishwasher detergent. The dishwasher did not seem to do a good job on the normal setting. We added some over the door hanging hooks in the bathroom and both bedrooms. The one bedroom did not have a closet so this helped with hanging up the wet towel and the bathroom lacked any place to hang clothes. That lock box was incredibly frustrating to put back today before I figured out I needed to re-enter the code first to reset it.Overall both me and my sister very happy with your house and we had a fabulous time exploring the area. I would definitely like to return.Thank You"

"Absolutely beautiful property. The lake views are amazing and I added two new uncommon birds to my life list! Having the wrap around deck made it really easy to keep the dog outside and happy. We could easily block the exit to keep her contained. Next time, I'll bring all my own toiletries and kitchen essentials but otherwise, 10/10"
