Very clean, spacious room. Everything you could want for an overnight stop. Great shower, plentiful amenities and fantastic service. Even though I checked in late the manager was very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The bed was really uncomfortable, the room was nice and warm which was good - the bathroom was clean but you can tell it does need some work as the walls are peeling and looks quite untidy.

This was our first stop on our way to Queenstown from Christchurch Airport. It seems like a small family-run business, and the owners were really nice. Beth, at the reception, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She gave us tips on what we could do and where to find good food. Check-in and check-out processes were also a breeze. The room we stayed in was clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend this motor lodge to anyone looking for a stopover on their road trip.

Although nothing intrinsically wrong, the room was cold and midwinter with only a blow heater to heat the room up which was noisy. Sadly the truckdrivers driving past ignored the local laws and were using engine breaks until well into the evening as well.

More what I didn't like. The bed was so hard I couldn't sleep, then there was heaps of noise and banging which was quiet scary at midnight. Don't like no duvet cover, just a duvet inner, not impressed with that. I was in what was classed as a deluxe unit, it wasn't. Definitely only 3 star. Could have done with four pillows on the bed and certainly didn't seem like a king size bed. Easy check in, friendly staff.

This is a value property…a bit dated, you need patience with the shower and a fair bit of road noise for a non-city person.

Photos provided wasnt the same to the room i was in could only have a 10 min shower then have no hot water couldnt run a hot spa bath, no complimentary milk, black mould on all backing of curtains and around window sills and door frames glass. When booking total was $420 for 2 adults 3 kids then was told to pay $180 extra for the kids to stay, bed was hard as a rock, heaters didnt provide much heat but was ok, limited towels told to reuse towels. Havw taken photo's and will be taking the matter further
