"Quiet, friendly staff, rustic, beautiful, and located well."

"What a dump. Toilet was turned off when we arrived. It has a shower curtain over the window that offers zero privacy. 3 dead pillows on a bed made of wood. Not at all worth the cost. Doend the money and sleep outside on the grass. It is the usual slum lord style bs owned by foreigners. Absolutely disgusting and run down."

"Run down, closed the pool so they wouldn’t have to clean it, very bad water pressure. My autistic child had an accident in the bed, and I was berated by the staff, who gave me worn, old bedding “in case it happens again” and refused to give me a new comforter. Then they charged me $200 for the comforter not being in the room at checkout."

"Towel exchange pricess is weird. Employees at the desk should not be taking dirty towels with bare hands at the front desk. That's unsanitary at best. Also, the room had exactly 2 of every item which means you must wash after every meal. "

"At first we were ready to give the hotel all 5 star ratings, everything was going great. Its not actually a 5 star hotel but its nice, clean and the staff are very nice and friendly and do their best to attend to your needs. It was also nice having access to breakfast every morning. We didn't require any room service only clean towels We took out are own garbage and just asked for refill garbage bags.We were enjoying ourselves so much. on Monday we decided to stay an additional night. At 11 on Monday we went to the front desk to pay for our extended day of stay. staff had changed and there was a lady at the front desk. We had made plans to go out that afternoon and had an itinerary scheduled. However, we wanted to go to the pool.When we returned to our room to shower and dress the running water in the sink and tub was brown. I went to the front desk to notify the young lady. She said they had been working on the boiler and to let it run for 15 or 20 minutes. Well i did and it was still brown. i told her and i also told her if we would had been notified us in advance we could have changed our schedules and not went to the pool. She said she was unaware when we paid for the additional day. However, we passed by her desk several times before we got in the pool and she never mentioned it. Well she then said she would give us our money back and we could leave....how could we just leave without showering. I let the water run 1hr lighter but still brown. It eventually was clear "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect. We had a great view looking over downtown from our balcony! The only downfall was the three flights of stairs! Be prepared to walked up and down stairs or hills getting to and from town. There was ample space and included a kitchenette which was great. The place is definitely outdated. But it just made it feel nostalgic! It was clean and cozy! I would definitely stay again! Especially for the cost!"

"Nice place for the price. Didn't know the pool was closed till I checked in. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was the pool access."

"Bathroom needs a lot of work. Drain cover missing and faucet very loose from the wall. Floor behind the toilet was disgusting. "
