For a short stay, it was good, but there were some small issues. The staff members i encountered were polite and professional. The room and parking lot were clean. The parking spots were large enough that two cars beside each other could have their doors open and it wouldn't be an issue. However, there was a portable heater to keep the room warm, so the bathroom was less warm, and there was quite a bit of traffic noise.

I will say this was an interesting experience indeed. Promoted as a "workers paradise". Where you would intuitively enter to check in is actually their 241 Pizza operation (no hate for pizza here!) so you go to the door to the right that enters into a laundry room of sorts with a folding table. Apparently there was some issue with the TV and the friendly person assisting me was required to escort me to the room where I watched him fiddle with the TV and wires until the cable was on. ( The TV turned off on its own accord sometime in the night.) For the room itself, its a standard strip motel with parking in the front. The upside is that the sheets, most of the towels and the bathroom in general were fairly clean. The fridge operated well and the room doesn't smell bad. It's clear this motel as a building has had some history, dated interior, scuffs and several screw holes along the door frame likely indicating the door had been kicked in a few times. The security latch was barely hung on but there's a dead bolt so. The real down side was that the walls, bench, other furniture did not appear to have been wiped/sanitized (visible smears) since the mid-2000's and this was still a $100/night stay through Expedia. I did sleep ok and it was a roof but in retrospect I'd spend another $100+ for the peace of mind.

It would is an old school roadside motel just east of Timmins. While not fancy, it’s economical and comfortable and easy to check in, hit the sack and get up early and back in the road.

I found the staff very helpful. The accommodations very good value. Excellent tv set up,which allowed me to choose a good movie to finish the evening. Coffee machine and all toiletries ,towels well done.

Unfortunately, this motel needs to be majorly renovated. The motel is in very rough condition. That being aside I have stayed in motels in need of renovation before. The unfortunate situation here is that it is very dirty with heavy dust and other items under the beds handprints on the wall behind the toilet, a broken bathroom sink counter, stains on the mat and in a non-smoking room, cigarette burns on the comforters. While I was there, they were renovating the office and maybe they are going to start renovating some of the rooms as well. I would not stay here again, unless things are totally renovated and cleaning becomes more of a priority.
