Having taken two buses, and numerous motorbikes, we then had a one hour trek through mountainsides and rice terraces to find the fabled tribal tatoooist; Whang Od. The last mamabatok tattoo artist in the Philippines.
On the way to the tribes of Kalinga last week, these were some of the breathtaking scenes I had l while driving on narrow one lane dirt roads along the high mountains edge. it was absolutely breathtaking. #roadtrip

Batad Rice Terraces is a must see, but have to be physically fit for it is very steep, high, narrow and very very long walk. Place was nice but the address on expedia is not the exact address of the property is different. We had a hard time looking for the place, had to call the host multiple times. No wifi.
