"Mataikona is a close drive to Castlepoint. The hill road is just how the host describes slow driving allows taking in the views.This house is a perfect location for a quiet get away. we went in winter but got our two days with no rain. The fireplace was awesome, almost too hot!"

"A very large, old beach house. And just wonderful. Cosy fire, amazing views, everything possible available in kitchen. Drove through floods to get there and it was worth it. My little dogs are home and absolutely exhausted from all the great walks."

"The property was beautiful, and the surroundings were stunning. Despite there being other properties it felt very private. A great place to unwind. The dogs were really friendly and so well behaved, they came by each day to play with our dogs and have a cuddle. Host communication was fantastic, they were extremely accomodating and really went the extra mile. Cant recommend this property enough. We'll defintely be back. "
