Had a fabulous stay at the Monarc.Very clean, nice decor, great breakfast, friendly staff. Great roof bar. It was perfectly placed in the centre of town - bars and restaurants no more than 5 min walk away. The price worked for us. It was one of the nicest boutique hotels we have visited in Eastern Europe and we have been to many.

A small well-presented modern hotel close to the centre of town with friendly and helpful staff. It also has a very pleasant roof bar which is open to the public. It is however on the intersection of two very busy streets so there is a lot of traffic noise if you want to open a window.

Hotel was in a perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The buffet style breakfast with eggs made to order was an excellent option both mornings of our stay. Overall experience was great. Would highly recommend this hotel.

First of all, I want to mention the staff. Every single one if the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated and in a modern design. The room size is good and the beds are comfortable. Location of the hotel is central and it us easy to get around from the hotel. However, due to the central location it is quite noisy. Even with windows, shutters and curtains closed, the street noise was clearly audible. I asked for a different room after the first night which I was given immediately and thou better it was still noisy.

Lovely small hotel, handy for all attractions and for centre. 20-30 mins transfer from airport - booked via hotel for 20 euros. Lovely helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast as well. Was very impressed and loved Tirana which as a great city break for a few days.

The hotel receptionist was very helpful answering our many questions and was particularly helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as helping us book a day tour to Berat. The breakfast was well done and tasty and restaurant staff was friendly. Great rooftop bar. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Very central

It is a very nice and small hotel in centrum. Nice and friendly personal. The traffic around the hotel is intensiv. The big mosque is close to the hotel so you hear the call to prayer very loud.

It was our first time in Tirana and we did speak the language well. The staff were very patient with us and very accommodating to us. Bessa in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful and made our stay that much better. We also very much enjoyed the bar on the fourth level was very comfortable with nice views of the city.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was a well sized modern one, clean & equipped with kettle & fridge. Good rooftop bar. Room unfortunately was a little too noisy from traffic noise, but that may have been because of the side of the building we stayed at & you’ll always get traffic noise when staying most cities.

Boutique hotel with great service

The MonarC is a lovely small hotel ideally situated to many of Tirana's main attractions. The staff is friendly and professional and made us feel right at home. I was having issues communicating with a restaurant we were trying to go to, and the front desk helped out by making a call and clarifying our options. Great service. Will definitely stay there again.

Very kind and serviceminded people at the reception. Nice hotel, well situated. Breakfast was OK. The room and bathroom were clean. Perhaps more space would have been needed around the toilett. I didn't manage to get TV any channel in English. WIFI worked perfectly. Would definitively book again.

The MonarC Hotel is a charming, small property that provides clean and comfortable rooms and dining facilities. The ladies who provided us with breakfast were very sweet and took care of us, providing us with eggs cooked perfectly and delicious cappuccinos. The hotel is in the most convenient location and walkable to everything that we wanted to see. We also absolutely loved the rooftop terrace, where we could enjoy our late afternoon drinks while looking at the new mosque across the street and the beautiful city of Tirana. The value provided by this hotel is amazing and we would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Tirana, a city we completely loved!

Everything was good. There is no temporary parking to unload luggage, so be prepared to stop on a busy while unloading. Easy public parking underground within 3 mins of walking. It was very hot outside (37C) during our stay and hotel lobby and stairs were very warm. Room AC was able to keep room cool after we had it running continuously for 24hrs. Breakfast was good. Staff is very friendly.
