We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay at Sparsa Thiruvannamalai. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The ambiance was as excellent for anyone who may be visiting Ramanasramam. The food and services were great.

Tranquil hotel but very rigid reception staff
Property - Tranquil property with a swimming pool and garden. The reception is simple. They have a dedicated place for serving complimentary evening tea and doing morning yoga. They offer pottery and flower garland classes along with bullock-cart ride and cow milking. They give a cold coconut water drink on check-in along with a garland. Room - is spacious with antique furniture, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. The shampoo and conditioner are provided in an eco-friendly container. The rooms upstairs have a better view so request for it before you check-in as the staff doesn't accommodate request to change rooms once you check-in which is frustrating. Dining - the breakfast is included. The spread is delicious with unique items like banana flower juice. The dining room has beautiful Tanjore paintings. The staff is attentive and courteous. However, the dining room doesn't serve a la carte for dinner. The dinner buffet is predominantly continental and north Indian which is a disappointment if you were hoping to try South Indian cuisine. Location - the resort is close to the temple and ashram. You can stop by the hotel during grivalam as the hotel is on the path of the grivalam.

Cute and cozy hotel in Thiruvannamalai
This resort hotel is cozy and very beautiful. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean with all amenities. However we had an issue with one of the rooms which was smelling like it has been smoked . Hotel staff sprayed some perfume to make it better. They also said none of their rooms are smoking rooms. I don’t understand how it has been smelling so strong. I request the management to seriously look into why it was smelling in room 110 on 23rd august. Rest all amazing and I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Arunachalam temple

It’s a hidden gem in Tiruvannamalai. Beautiful and tranquil ambience. Absolute delight to stay at the property. Food at onsite restaurant was outstanding! Access to the property was a bit challenging as the roads were severely damaged.

It was an excellent stay.The booking through HOtels.com is pathetic. I never faced a problem when I was in Europe. I started facing issues when I tried booking in India. However the accommodation is quote relaxing and service is best in class.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was clean and the gardens were well kept. Food was great and the food suggestions were great. The bed was not comfortable. The mattress was hard but not firm and was saggy which was not conducive to a good night’s sleep. It was raining when we went and they did not have trollies to being the luggage’s to the room which resulted in us having muddy wheels and bottoms of suitcases.

I have travelled all over the world and this ranks alongside the best hotels I stayed in. The customer service is top notch on par or better than the most expensive hotels out in the world. The cleanliness and amenities are great. Breakfast is cooked with passion, tasty and healthy. The manager and the front desk staff aimed to please all the time. The room service staff were very responsive and would always insist on carrying our bags. Newspapers delivered to each room every morning. The gate staff washed my car for no charge. The chief cook personally visited each table to chat and enquire about the food. I will have no second thought before opting to stay here again. Be sure to tip generously if you do stay there.

This place was amazing! Grounds were beautiful, loved the resident peacocks and group of monkeys. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Loved the rooms, full of charm. Was nice to have the fridge in the room to keep our water cold in the hot weather. Pool was refreshing in the mornings, but otherwise was just too hot! AC worked great.

It was a nice and pleasant stay. The atmosphere is Serene and peaceful. If you accept basic facilities and quite stay this the place. The pool area was very good. Food even though vegetarian was good. Service was excellent.

An oasis in the country side near Thiruvannamalai. I’ve been in India for 5 weeks and as anyone traveling here knows, the cities are noisy with lots of honking cars 24/7. Here it is quiet, peaceful, dark, and comfortable. It was a well needed break from the busy cities for a few nights before continuing on. The restaurant and staff are very accommodating. Great wellness spa offerings. Unique daily free activity for guests. Seems like a lovely place to bring small children or have a weekend away.

Beautiful property
Loved the grounds, the pool, the environment. Good food at the restaurant, comfortable, nice rooms. I appreciated the tasteful decorating and overall feel of the property. Lots of great complimentary activities including pottery and I enjoyed the afternoon chai. My only reservation was the spa which seemed expensive for the level of service.

Wonderful but needs a slight upgrade!!!!
It was a wonderful setting and the swimming pool was fab! A great getaway from our travel in India. The beds were a bit hard and the toilet seat kept slamming shut when one stood...in the middle of the nite not great for the roommate
