And Titisee, in the heart of the Black Forest, is exactly that—a place where time moves at a different pace. The eponymous Titisee, just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, is the heart of the region: In summer, the crystal-clear mountain lake invites you to swim, sail, stand-up paddle, and go pedal boating; in winter, the surroundings transform into a picturesque snow paradise. Your Time—whether you’re being active or simply relaxing. The network of hiking trails around Titisee is among the most beautiful in Germany—whether you’re taking leisurely strolls along the lakeshore, tackling challenging hikes on the Schwarzwald-Steig, or exploring the impressive Todtnau Waterfall Gorge. Cyclists and e-bike riders will also find a first-class network of trails. The charming lakeside promenade, with its restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops, is within walking distance. The Feldberg—at 1,493 metres, the highest peak in the Black Forest—is just a 20-minute drive away, making it ideal for downhill and cross-country skiers in the winter.
