"I had to change rooms because the first room was very mildew smelling. The fridge was unplugged, come to find out it’s because it was very loud. The second room had less of a smell, but the fridge just didn’t work and was dirty. The second floor hallway had a smelled very strong, probably to cover up the smell of weed coming from some of the rooms. I’m an early riser and every morning around 0500 my water was cold. Overall it was NOT worth my money. The front desk guy was very nice and understanding. It’s a shame, I’ve stayed at this particular La Quinta a number of times and it has just gone way down hill. This was my last stay here for sure. "

"The room was clean. The fridge was frozen and wasn't cooling. I came back to my room and it was hot. I walked to the front desk and said something, the man said okay I'll be right there. I sat in this hot room sweating for 15 minutes, i called the front desk, he answered and set the phone on the counter. I listened to him ring in other people for 17 minutes, so i walked bad to the front desk, while still on the phone, and interrupted the man and asked, should I hang up now or wait on the phone for you to pick it back up after 17 minutes. He said sorry, i reminded him of my air, her said I'll be right there. 10 more minutes he showed up. "

"I booked a room through hotel.com and somehow the check in date ended up being wrong and I was told when I arrived that the date that I had booked was incorrect and I was supposed to get there the night before. I know what date I put in the website. They argued with me about it and was extremely in-compassionate and rude and they said they were booked up now. We were supposed to start our spring break here because we were going on a 7 day cruise the following morning. It was Friday the 13th and I know that I put in the 13 th and the fact that the lady was so nasty to me about it and slammed the paper down and showed me where hotel.Com website showed that I put in the 12th was absolutely ridiculous. Even had that been correct the way she slammed it down was unacceptable as a customer service representative at a family hotel. Another lady came up that worked there was nice and found us another hotel atleast but they didn’t say sorry or act like they cared at all. The nicer lady atleast found us another place and offered us to come let the kids use their pool but by that time I was over dealing with these people at this hotel. This would have been our 2nd time coming here. It wasn’t the best room but it was convenient because they have a shuttle for the cruise ships so that’s the only reason we were staying there. They don’t show any outside pictures of the hotel because they don’t want you to see how old it is and it use to be an old days inn motel. The rooms are not updated."

"Wonderful staff and convenient parking. Very solid breakfast for a hotel, though only having one waffle maker meant there was a significant line for the machine at 8am. Rooms were no frills and could stand an update, but for a comparatively lower price, I can't complain. Proximity to Cracker Barrel was a plus however there should be a better sidewalk to the restaurant, as the muddy strip of grass resulted in two pairs of soaked shoes. I'll admit that was our problem not the hotel's, but a better walkway to the restaurant could prevent future issues with that. "
